I take a deep breath and slowly begin to speak. "That hospital I stayed at was not a regular hospital.. they did things I do not wish to speak of yet to me and others." I say to him staring at my feet. I can sense his anger as I say this to him. Suddenly I feel the seat next to me dip and I know it's my father sitting by me now. Oh how I wish it was Carlisle though. "What did they do Sophie?" Lifting my head up I look at him with tears in my eyes and say. "I can't." Then I drop my head into my hands and cry.

I then feel my fathers arms wrap around me and it brings me comfort

I then feel my fathers arms wrap around me and it brings me comfort. "Shhh.. it's going to be okay kiddo. I promise." We stay like this for a while until I finally stop crying. Looking up I meet my dads eyes and see tears stream down his face. Ever so gently I wipe them away and hug him once more. "I'm okay now dad.. don't cry." I reassure him. I feel him relax and I smile. We pull apart and I stand up drying my eyes with my hands. "I better get going Carlisle will be waiting on me." He sighs and nods his head. "You really do love him don't you?" I smile "I do." And with that I leave the room and walk outside only to be greeted by a cloudy sky. "Hmm must be a storm coming in." I mumble and then look up to see Carlisle sitting on the hood of his car looking quite sexy. "Alice says we are going to have some thunder. That means I get to show you how us vampires play baseball." Carlisle tells me happily. "So in other words you get to show off." I reply smirking. "Yes I suppose It does mean I get to show off." He then goes to the passenger side and opens the door for me. "Thank you." I say to him as I get in the car. He simply nods his head and shits the door. We pull out of the driveway and head back to his house. During the whole ride Carlisle thankfully doesn't speak of what I said to my father. "Would you like to go to a bookstore?" He asks me breaking the silence. "I'd love to! Im almost through with The Phantom Of The Opera so I'm in need of a new book." I tell him excitedly. My excitement causes him to chuckle. He makes an illegal U turn and heads towards the direction of the closest book store.
