chapter 34

The remainder of my time was spent teaching Rose and Alice how to cook Italian they caught on pretty quickly so before i knew it we were done and Bella had arrived. "Here comes the human." rose mumbles and i shoot her a look saying be nice. Then Edward and Bella appear in the doorway of the kitchen. "Everyone this is Bella." Edward says. Carlisle steps forward and greets my sister. " Your very welcome, Bella." they shake hands and Carlisle returns to my side."Its nice to see you again, Dr.Cullen ." Carlisle smiles then says. "Please, call me Carlisle." Bella then grins and says. "Carlisle." Edward then speaks up and asks. "Where are Alice and Jasper?" looking around i see they are both gone and then just like that they appear. "Hey Edward!" Alice calls out enthusiastically as she runs down the stairs using her vampire speed. Carlisle shoots her a warning glance which she of course ignores.  "Hi, Bella!" Alice says as she kisses Bella on the cheek.  Then Alice says something that would freak anyone out. "You do smell nice, i never noticed before." the room falls silent and then jasper speaks up. "Hello, Bella." Bella turns to look at him the whole room does and Bella sweetly replies. "hello Jasper."  now its my turn to speak. "hey Bella.. we made you Italian if your hungry." she just nods her head but Edward speaks up. "she already ate." then we hear the shattering of glass. the bowl of salad that Rosalie was holding is now broken pieces on the floor. "great!" Rosalie says "lets just keep pretending that this isn't dangerous for all of us if.." rose trails off. "you mean if we become the meal." Bella finishes for her. the Cullens laugh at her statement but Bella and i stay silent. "okay i'm going to show Bella around." Edward says and leads Bella away. turning to rose i point to the mess she made and say. "lets clean that up." she nods her head and we both begin to work. after cleaning everything up we throw it in the trash and Emmett takes it out. then we put all the food in the fridge for me for later. "i think that went as well as it could of possibly gone." i say to Carlisle as we sit on the love seat in the den. "i think so too." he agrees. Then i lay down in his lap and fall asleep to him softly playing with my hair.
