A shimmery star is all I want tonight.
A star that I can wish on with all my hopes on debt.
That sweeps away my trouble and bursts my soul with pleasure.
A star that will give me sweet dreams and lands me on cloud nine.
A unique star that catches my eye.
That I can hope is a loved one that is unfortunately dead.
And I can whisper all my secrets knowing it's in safe hands.
A star I can look up to and appreciate it's beauty.
Which will twinkle and shine filling the dark sky with delight.
Which will dance with the moon and sing out in the silent night.
A star that is kissed goodnight by a angel.
A star that doesn't leave my side for my whole life.
A star that motivates me to shine and carol, making me wish I can fly.
A shimmery star is all I want tonight...
