Let's take a moment of silence.
In this fresh new year.
To acknowledge the people in our past.
People who were dear.
But passed away.
Leaving a trail of tears.
Weather it was a car accident.
One moment everything okay.
But one blink and everything gone.
A type of cancer.
Slowly losing hope.
And prepared to lose.
Ending life.
When it is too unbearable.
And all the person wants to do is die.
From a heart attack
When everything appears fine.
And before we know the person is snatched away.
It is time for a fresh start.
But let's take a moment of silence.
To acknowledge all the people who we've lost.
