Jolly times.
Laugher and happiness all around.
Christmas lights brightening up my day.
Scent of candy canes and gingerbread cookies.
Sound of bells and carols out on the streets.
Malls packed with people eager to purchase treats.
And to make it all better.
Here surrounding me are christmas lights.
Green, red, and white.
Each bulb is like every friend I got.
A separate bulb glowing in its own special way.
Some are dim and others are bright.
But they all together.
Cast a string of lights.
No light is less important than another.
Neither.
No light is more important than another.
They all shed a bright light that lingers.
I'm glad that I have these Christmas lights.
For all I know, everything would be different.
If not for these Christmas lights.
