"yeah they're cute or whatever, just don't bring any of them home because I'm not cleaning dog shit" I said in response to Emerson introducing me to his dogs back at home
"well start getting ready because if we ever move in together we're getting a dog or two"
"no we're not. we can get a nice little boring turtle or fish, something that doesn't require much but definitely not a dog" I shook my head in front of the camera so he could see
There was a brief comfortable silence before he spoke again.
"I miss you" He sighed while resting back on his bed
"it's only been like a day or two, I just saw you yesterday morning"
"so? I hate being away from you for so long, and it's not like you're only downstairs. I'm in a whole 'nother state right now. I just wanna be home and hold you, kiss you, rub up on you a bit" He said
"aww, is someone having blue balls?"
"I don't get them shits" He laughed "I could have any bitch in my room in seconds, don't test me Tahj"
"go ahead, get some random bitch to suck the life out of your dick. but guess what, you're coming home to me. and when that happens, you're gonna be sleeping on the couch in your own apartment" I said feeling accomplished with myself
"nah chill" He whined "you know you the only person I let bitch me around like this? I dare one of those lil girls I used to mess around with try the shit that you do"
"I don't bitch you around...I just remind you that I'm not worth losing. trust me when it comes to you too I know that you're not worth me losing either. I've seen relationships where one person thinks they're too good for the person they're with and the relationship goes south. that shit ain't cool"
"nigga you bitch me around stop it. even my grandma says it" He said while laughing
"you told her about me?" I asked
"yeah. she knew there was someone in my life when she saw how clear my skin was, whatever that's supposed to mean. she said something about me being stress free and only a healthy relationship can cause me to be that free of stress, then she winked"
I began dying of laughter. I can't believe she said that, and then winked.
"how'd she take it, when she found out I'm not a girl?"
