While elsewhere upon the Moon,the "Mother of Celestials" catered to her now pregnant daughter. Whom was quite Abit flustered since awakening and realizing Sesshomaru had not yet returned. When Shizuka's mother went to soothe her hoping she could do as she used to so long ago. Cease her child's sobs and take them in as her own. But the Mother of Celestials was completely out of her comfort zone. As her gaze landed on Shizuka's,she saw it. An emotion flickered within Shizuka's emerald hue eyes. With such fever The Mother of Celestials was afraid that very emotion would take hold of her daughter. And in her current state there was no telling what the soon to be mother was capable of.

What The Mother of Celestials witnessed within Shizuka was love. A love so strong that it possibly surpassed that of the affection of Mother and child. No. The Mother of Celestials knew this to be true. For a greater love had come into her beloved daughter's life. And the more the Queen watched the more she realized it was indeed real and could not be changed. Shizuka had fallen in love. Madly infact and chose a yokai as a partner no less. A being that no one in their right mind would choose. Yet Shizuka did,and till this day she did not regret a thing. It was even clear to her mother.

She loved him. That yokai. The one whom had tainted her daughter beyond compare yet because of their sinful union life was being created. A life that would continue to live and transcend beyond that of anyone's dreams. And this was all possible because of their love. A love that the Mother of Celestials had questioned numerous times,yet the yokai would not hesitate. Though he was a yokai of very few words. When it had to deal with Shizuka,he would speak. His regular cold exterior melting Abit when speaking of his pregnant mate. It was clear that even if he did not say it much,the yokai meant well. He infact cared deeply for Shizuka. So much infact that he set off on a perioulus journey to save someone dear to Shizuka. And he didn't even bat and eye at it. The yokai took the quest with stride and overall earned the Mother of Celestials respect for his bravery and willingness to appease her daughter.

The Mother of Celestials couldn't help but to release a light sigh. Still quite surprised at what the future had in store for her daughter. And it seemed as if things only seemed to become more and more interesting as the sudden appearence of the white haired Yokai Sesshomaru quieted the room. The tall yokai seemed to almost smile as he noticed that Shizuka had finally awakened. He quickly made his way over to his pregnant mate,all the while holding the unconscious Rin  in his arms. Careful not to harm the poor child. Noticing the sleeping child,The Mother of Celestials stepped towards the Demon Lord. Her hands extended for the sleeping Rin.

Nodding in thanks Sesshomaru handed the child to the Queen. All the while Sesshomaru quietly made his way to his love. Yes her back was turned towards him but even at this angle she was indeed quite beautiful. Her raven hair seemed to almost dance around her like ribbons as the wind tossed her delicate locks about. Sesshomaru then placed a gentle hand of Shizuka's shoulder,only to have her in return place her small hand on his own. Giving him a reassuring squeeze. Unable to contain herself Shizuka turned towards the handsome Daiyokai only to be brought into a gentle yet warm embrace from the silver haired demon.

Sesshomaru then longingly nuzzled his face into his love's hair,taking in her sweet and calming scent. "You came back."Shizuka whispered into Sesshomaru's chest,as the Daiyokai seemed to increase his grip on his mate. Holding her not only protectively but lovingly. Something the demon Lord would usually do in the privacy of his chambers. But now things we're different. For he no longer feared showing Abit of love. He only feared of losing it. It was quite funny to him how something he once hated with every fiber of his being. Was now something Sesshomaru would desperately try to protect. This. This moment. This feeling of calm,and acceptance. This was what the Demon Lord had always wished for. He merely did not see it. Gripping onto his yukata tightly Shizuka peered towards her love who whispered a simple phrase that caused her heart to skip a beat. " I would never leave you." And that she knew to be true.

With him she was happy,and safe. That much was certain,Shizuka felt that with every fiber of her being. They could do this,they could raise a child. And in doing so protect them. Gently Sesshomaru began to rest his hand upon Shizuka's swollen tummy causing her to smile warmly at his touch. "She will give birth very soon."The Mother of Celestials informed as she gently placed the unconscious Rin on her bed before she continued to speak. "You will give birth in 2 days time. When the Moon is vacant in the sky and you are at your weakest. You must be well protected during this time. Understood?" The Mother of Celestials asked as both Sesshomaru and Shizuka nodded as the two we're fed more information about the rare miracle that was soon to happen.

"Then we will return home,Mother. I wish the child to live among man. Protected by myself and Sesshomaru." Shizuka stated as her mother nodded almost as if she already knew what her daughter would say. The Queen informed the two lovers that she would be sending with them a group of the finest Celestials on the Moon. Ones that would strive to protect Shizuka and the child at any cost. Sesshomaru agreed to her terms before unconsciously wrapping his left arm firmly around Shizuka's form before declaring"I will protect her with my life. You have my word." Sesshomaru stated his amber orbs piercing through Shizuka's mother who couldn't help but to smile at him. She believed him,and most of all had faith in him.

"Then you have my blessing." The Mother of Celestials said with a smile which caused Shizuka to shed tears of joy. For they had finally claimed the acceptance of her mother which was something Shizuka had always dreamed of. Yet at the thought of meeting her child very soon Shizuka rubbed her swollen tummy whispering sweet words to the growing child. It was true Shizuka was beyond excited to have her child and unknown to her there were quiet a few other people who were just as excited as she. But for all the wrong reasons. Shizuka was not worried one bit,but deep down she should be. For the forces that stood against her and Sesshomaru we're mighty. And soon would release their rage onto them before they knew it.
