Atop of a fairly large nekomanta yokai, the Demon Slayer Sango gripped onto the fur of her companion. Asking the large beast to keep going, as they had been tracking down a familiar scent. Kohaku's scent for a few days now. Choosing to take her leave of her normal companions, while Kagome returned to her world temporarily for more supplies. Sango simply could not wait. Sensing that if she did not act soon, she would lose her one lead to find her brother. And Santo could not risk that. Even knowing the dangerous situation and yokai Kohaku was surly surrounded by;Sango continued. Fearless in her endevor.

Soaring through the cloud filled sky, Sango soon spotted a fairly large feather. And upon it were two silhouettes, their backs turned to Sango. But there was no mistaking it. That was none other than Kagura herself with Kohaku in tow. Gritting her teeth, Sango held back the urge to call out to her brother. Seeking to remain in the cover of the clouds until the time was right to strike. Kirara, the nekomanta clung to the veil of clouds around them. Camouflaging Sango as the two silently crept behind Kagura. Who seemed unaware of their presence.

Kagura then lowered she and Kohaku to the ground below, allowing her feather to shrink back to its normal size. While Kagura began to nurse her wounds. As she was covered in crimson from head to toe. With claw marks marring Kagura's face, arms, and even chest. She flinched, peeling away pieces of her very own flesh which seemed to sizzle and boil at her own touch. Hissing lowly Kagura barked at Kohaku in an angry manner. "Your sloppiness almost got me killed kid!" Kagura spat as her flesh struggled to heal over the still bleeding wounds. A strange translucent amber liquid oozing from the injuries.

"I'm...sorry." Kohaku whispered abit of his conscious lingering on the surface. This surprised Kagura who eyed the usually stoic boy. Quite curious as to how he was able to actually speak without orders from Naraku. "Well then, isn't that something." Kagura mused as she couldn't help but to smirk. "Must be that aura of hers."Kagura commented as she landed against a nearby tree. "The Daughter of Sesshomaru, who would have expected that." Kagura said as nearby Sango held in a gasp.

She had heard the tale from Inuyasha and Kagome recently. They had said that Sesshomaru had a child, a daughter at that. Who's demeanor was so unlike her father at first it was quite confusing. But only when angered did the resemblance to Sesshomaru became quite clear. Sango believed that perhaps she would meet this child very soon. But not like this. As it seemed that it was Sesshomaru's daughter that had attacked Kagura. And surprisingly spared Kohaku.

"She didnt want to hurt me." Kohaku informed as Kagura rolled her eyes, pressing her sizzling flesh against one another. Bidding the injuries to heal over but to no avail. "Yeah and all that anger fell on me." Kagura stated in an agitated manner before finally giving up. Her wounds continuing to ooze the strange glistening gold liquid which dripped on the ground. "She would be trouble in the future if it wasn't for that woman." Kagura said referring to Shinimi whom hsd concocted the plan which they had just finished.

"You think...it will work? The plan I mean....she's no ordinary yokai. Your wounds arent even healing Kagura." Kohaku pointed out now abit more talkative which pleased Kagura. Usually it was as if she were talking to a brick wall. She valued the company of someone like minded. Someone who wished to be set free from the shakles that were Naraku. "I'm not sure, but I pray it won't. I think that girl is our only of truly being free."Kagura muttered as she let out a loud hiss before fixing her robes. "You really think she can kill Naraku?" "I don't see why not. That blade from the Celestial Realm nearly killed him when Sesshomaru used it. If that girl is just as capable as she was in battle...we might have a shot." Kagura breathed as Kohaku quietly peered towards the heavens. A single tear sliding down his cheek as he whispered "Sister." His voice carrying enough for Sango to hear in yhe distance. And she couldn't help but to shed silent tears.

Knowing she was powerless to save her brother. She wanted to run, to hold him in her arms. Reassure him all was well. But it would be a lie,one she refused to tell. Biting her bottom lip Sango remained hidden, her tears never ceasing as she watched her little brother sob into the night air. Kagura sighed, abit uncomfortable with the waterworks. As she told him to cut it out. "Control yourself kid, or all we've done would have been for nothing." She said causing Kohaku to swallow back his sobs. Wiping the fresh tears from his face, nodding as the two began to walk deeper and deeper into the forest. Dissapearing behind a rippling barrier which Sango was sure Naraku was hiding behind.

Quickly Sango jumped on Kirara's back, ordering her to run as fast as she could. Sango had to tell Inuyasha. They had to do something. Anything that could save her brother. Anything.
