Jesse's POV

Bahay Pangarap, Malacañan Complex

I feel restless. Hindi ako makakalma. I was called by the President to his residence to talk about plans so I went. My emotions are running high. For some reason, that meeting with Leni just fueled every single feeling I have right now.

I waited for the President to come out, I was told he was just taking his medicines. I was offered tea, green tea. I asked the staff if the President likes tea. She chuckled.

"Hindi po."

"Ah, for guests siguro. Salamat ha."

She chuckled again. I smiled.

"Bakit?"

"Para po kay ma'am. Tubig po niya ito e."

"Ma'am?"

"VP Leni. Madalas po siya dito eh." She said as she left.

That's it. I snapped.

--

"Moises, good afternoon."

Kalma, Jesse. "Mr. President." We shake hands.  I tightened my grip.

"You ok sir?" The President asked.

I scoffed. "No, but don't worry about it, sir."

"Take a seat, let us talk. Tell me, ano problema."

He sat down but I'm still standing up. He looked up to me.

"Jesse?"

"Anong meron sa inyo ni Leni?"

"What do you mean?"

"Kayo ba, Digong? Live in na ba kayo? May nangyari na ba sa inyo?"

The man in front of me just blinked and urged me to sit down. I sat down in front of him and took a deep breath. I don't know what is going on with me. I looked at him.

"Hindi kami. Hindi kami live in. At wala pang nangyayari sa amin."

"Wala pa? Gago ka ha!" I clenched my fists hard. I saw in the corner of my eye the PSG close in to us.

"Leave us alone." He said sternly and the PSGs backed down but still at bay.

"I know I did not make a mistake in you, Jesse. Ilang beses na natin napag-usapan kung ano dapat natin gawin di ba? Kung ano man narinig mo -"

"Hindi totoo? Hah! Pare, hindi ako tanga - "

"Kung ano man narinig mo, totoo yun."

I blinked.

He stood up slowly in front of me. I looked at his sad, but clear sharp eyes. This is my chance.

I stood up and I punched him.

I punched him hard.

The PSG looked at us but Digong raised his hand to stop them to come forward but every security detail was already looking at us.

"Yun na yun?" He smirked and mocked me.

I blinked. "Wag si Leni, Digong."

I punched him again and he fell in his seat. I saw a security touch his gun.

"Walang gagalaw, mga putangina," Digong shouted to his men but the security remained alert. I saw most of the securities touch their weapons. "Bayaan mo yan bai, pag pinutok nila yan, ako unang tatamaan." he told me.
