I want u to be there... For a little more than Always!! Part 34: Its said that every dark room has a door leading us to brightness. Similarly, Nandini had become that door of brightness in Manik's life. She was by his side to take him out of darkness.
After the tiring day Manik finally felt peaceful as sleep took over him. The next morning Manik was getting ready for office when he heard a slight knock on his door.
He turned towards the clock and it immediately brought a smile on his face.
Manik: 4 mins late... Manik said loudly and heard the door being opened. It was exactly 7:04am... Nandini's time to report.
Nandini: Sorry sir!! Nandini said sarcastically as she entered to face his back as he stood in front of the mirror setting his hair.
Manik's smile broadened and he continued, Manik: Lunch at Dhruv and Aliya's. Rest on to u Nandini...
Nandini: Ohk sir..
Manik turned around towards her saying, Manik: Come on Nandini... U-
But as he saw her, he stopped in between his words. While his smile vanished, Manik: U.... Umn... U look beautiful!!

Nandini noticed his tone change and she saw him looking at her cloths, she looked down at herself when Manik said, Manik: U r not joining today?? Nandini then said slowly, Nandini: I was willing to rest for a day or two more...
Manik: Yeah yeah... That's good!! Manik said disheartened. Though he didn't say, but he really wanted her to join ASAP. And that was not just because he wanted to be with her but also coz he was very much dependent on her for work as well.
Nandini: I'll see if the breakfast is ready or not.
Manik nodded at her and she walked away. Nandini reached downstairs and ordered the servants to serve his breakfast and got to her work and prepared his schedule for the day.
A few minutes later Manik came down, he sat and saw Nandini going to the kitchen. Manik: Nandini.... U r joining like daily!! Simi will get my coffee, come sit!!!
Nandini smiled at him and sat next to him. As she sat she served their plates while manik kept on looking at her. She moved her hand further to pick up the sandwiches when Manik suddenly said,
Manik: Plz tell me, nothing is gonna change!
Nandini look at him and saw him looking right into her eyes, as if finding some answers or at least an assurance. She knew his was asking this just because of his vulnerability. She held both his hands in hers and said slowly,
Nandini: Nothing.... Nothing is gonna change!! Except for one thing...
Manik made a confused face at which she said, Nandini: Ur secretary is no longer gonna reply u in yes everytime u order her. Get ready for some amazing face offs Mr. Malhotra!!
