I Need U To Be There... For a little more than Always!!
Part 48:
Fab5 reached up on the front balcony when Manik saw something strange downstairs.
Nandini and Abhi seemed to be fighting over something in which Nandini kept on and on bashing him while Abhi was simply sitting on the bench with his head hung low. Cabir made manik sit there as they had their drinks.

On the same time, out in the garden:
Nandini: For God's sake abhi... Wasn't I clear enough that I don't want to be found. I ran away on my own will, why did u come here??

Abhi: Come on Nandini... Its been almost 4 years now!! Can't u forget it and come back.

Nandini: No I can't... This is my country now, this is my home, and this is my life.

Abhi: And what about us Nandini.... What about the ppl out there in LA who loved u and now are living in the false thought that u r DEAD....
Nandini closed her eyes as tears flowed down her eyes.

Nandini: Abhi plz... Don't make it difficult for me.

Abhi: Nandini... Its been 4 years, didn't u think about all of us even once... About me?? U know what u meant for me!!

Nandini: Believe me Abhi... If I hv missed someone the most then thats u, and no one could be happier than me seeing u here, but if u want to take me back, then i m sorry but I can't do that.

Abhi heard her and looked down while she too took her seat on the bench. None said anything for a few minutes when she heard him say,
Abhi: But I want u back??

Nandini: Abhi... U hv me!! Here I m in front of u. But just don't make things difficult for me.

Abhi: Ohk I won't... So tell me, what did u do after coming here... How did u manage stuff?? And how come u r here with these ppl, who r they??

Nandini smiled slightly at it as she knew her best friend was back and she started,
Nandini: The first six months I don't really know what I did. I was at some orphanage, maybe figuring out what I was.... But then I gained courage and I applied for a Job at The Malhotra Industries, well u know what all happened in the first six months. But then my life changed. As u know how much I loved doing my MBA, well this job gave me the same pleasure of work. I took a job as Manik's personal secretary, and with that I had to come here and live in this out house.

She pointed at the out house behind him. And continued, she told him everything that happened, all about Manik, how they got Fab5 back together and launched it, how she worked for him all these years and now how he is more of a friend than her boss.

Abhi: U love him??
Abhi asked all of a sudden making her look at him shocked as she hadn't mentioned anything about it yet.

Nandini: Abhi... Umn...

Abhi: Nandini... U should know!! U still can't hide things from me... I know u in and out.

Nandini smiled at him and then finally said,
Nandini: Yes... I Love Him!! I love him more than anything in this world. Though I just realised it lately but the amount of love, care, respect that he has showered over me makes me feel the luckiest person alive. Maybe I would hv given up long back, if these ppl had not been there. Abhi these ppl know nothing about my past and I know Manik really wanted to know it many a times, but never did he ever force me, or try to know. He always respected me for my own privacy.

Abhi: I m happy for u!

They talked for a little more and then realised that it had been an hour so they got up to move inside the Mansion where Fab5 was waiting for them in the dining area. They had moved back down the moment they had seen things getting normal and Manik was convinced that Nandini was smiling.
