Chapter 32

Laurence

I can't wait for my turn to try to win Aphmau's heart.

I let Garroth go first because I'm just that good of a friend.

*Slam*

"MY DOOR!" I yelled as the door to my room exploded into a million tiny pieces.

I glared at Garroth.

"Seriously dude."

"Hey, don't give me that look! It's your turn with Aph.." He stated sadly.

I smirked. "Awe, did Aphmau not return you feelings?"

"No.. N-Now you should go to her before I go back." He threatened.

"I don't think so~" I hollered as I ran out the door.

I have the perfect plan.

Aphmau

I finally dragged myself upstairs and collapsed onto my bed.

It's 7pm, so it's to early to go to bed, but to late to take a nap.

Ugh.

I just want to forget about the Ro'Mave's.

Vlyad is the only guy in the Ro'Mave family that I like right now.

And don't think for one second that I like like him, because I don't.

He's my 'Not Alone Buddy'.

Nothing more.

Garroth seriously broke my heart.

Great.

Another name to add to the list of broken hearts.

I guess that turns 2 into 3.

I still kinda liked him, I just needed some time.

I would have given him a chance when I was over Zane, but then he told me he wouldn't wait long for me.

I need to take my mind off love.

I grabbed my laptop and turned on Attack On Titan. 

The only one I love now is Levi Senpi~

Great, now I sound like Kawaii Chan.

I laughed a little.

Its been a while since I've watched A-

*Ding Dong*

Hmm?

Did the girls order pizza or something?

I sighed and dragged myself back downstairs.

I opened the door, and my face lit up when I saw who it was.

"Laurence!" I exclaimed as I wrapped him into a hug.

"Hey Aphmau! Long time no see!" He greeted with a cheerful smile.

"I'm so glad you're here! Y-You always make me feel better when I'm down..." I mumbled.

He let a puzzled expression appear on his face.

"Did something happen?" He asked me with a concerned voice.

A light blush (of embarrassment) formed on my face.

Did I say that out loud?!

I don't want to worry him, or make him mad at Garroth.

"O-Oh! I-It's nothing!"

"Hmmm... Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yup! Positive!" I replied quickly- maybe a little too quickly.

"Well.. okay then. So, wanna hang out? It's been a while." He stated as he nervously scratched the back of his neck.

My eyes widened with excitement.

"Yeah! I'd love to!" I stated as his smile returned. 

"Great! Let's go." He exclaimed as he gestured towards his car.

I giggled as he opened the passenger door for me.

I got in, and soon enough we were pulling out of the driveway.

We pulled into a parking lot, and the car was soon parked.

Laurence got out of the car, and opened the passenger door for me... again.

"Thanks," I said with a smile.

He returned it.

"So where are you taking me?" I asked curiously.

"You'll see~" He teased as he grabbed my hand.

I blushed at this, and I could have sworn he did too.

We walked over to a lake- hand and hand.

"The park?" I asked excitedly.

He nodded at this.

I squealed.

How did he know I loved the park!?

He chuckled at my reaction.

I gasped as I saw where he took me.

In front of the lake, there was a beautiful tree.

Under the tree was a picnic blanket and basket.

Surrounding the blanket were pretty- sented candles.

"S-So, do you like it?" He asked nervously.

"Are you kidding?! It's beautiful!" I exclaimed. 

He smiled at this.

We both sat down on the checkered picnic blanket, and we began to eat.

I hadn't had dinner yet, so my stomach thanked him.

The sun began to set, and we had a view of the gorgeous scenery.

It was truly breath-taking.

I looked over to Laurence, and he was staring at me as if I was a rare animal, or an expensive jewel.

It's almost like he's in a trance.

"L-Laurence," I started, but was cut off when his lips planted onto mine.
