Dil Ki Baaqhi

(Rebelliousnes Of The Heart)

"Mujhe tum se pyaar nahi Karna chaahiye,
Tumhari liye fikr nahi Karna chaahiye.

Mujhe zindagi bhar tumhari khayaalo me gum nahi hona chaahiye,
Ek lamhe ke liye mujhe tumhari taraf kabi bhi dehkna nahi chaahiye.

Par kya karu, tumhari khayaalo dil se utarte nahi,
Tumhari muskuraahat khaabo se jaat nahi,

Tumhari muskuraahat khaabo se jaat nahi,
Tumhari hasi kaano se ghaaib hoti

Kisi aur ke saath dekh kar, dil me shadeed besukooni hoti hain.
T

umhari wajah se, pehli dafa annkho aasu bahaa rahe hain."

(I'm not supposed to love you,
I'm not supposed to care,

I'm not supposed to live my life lost in your thoughts,
I was not supposed to even look at you for one moment.

But what must I do? Your thoughts don't escape from my heart.
Your smile doesn't leave my dreams.
Your laughter doesn't disappear from my ears.

When I see you with someone else my heart feels extremely restless,
Because of you, for the first time my eyes are shedding tears.)

He tapped his foot on the ground impatiently, as he watched the clock tick by. With the sound of each tick, he grew more and more restless.

He was so sure that Naailah and Daaniyaal were supposed to be here by now.

Hadn't his parents gone to the airport?

He was also sure the reason why there was a variety of foods prepared was because they were returning.

Despite Banedita's advice to move on and Raees's constant rebuking and reminding that Naailah was his sister in law, he still found it very hard to bury his feelings.

He knew it was because he didn't really want to bury his feelings, he didn't want to rid of the love that had sprouted for her years ago.

He knew he had to and he knew what he was doing was so very wrong, yet his heart remained rebellious and defied all the warning bells that rang in his mind.

He paced the living room, anxiously waiting for their arrival.

The way Naailah had looked at him with such concern and had asked him if he was okay before leaving, melted his heart.

He now knew, even though she was married to his brother, she still cared about him. Surely her care and affection towards him was in a sisterly way, but it was enough to give him some sort of hope.
