Looking at the mirror one last time, I ironed out the creases on my dress with my hand. It's as if every crease on my dress would show whatever dread and loneliness I'm feeling. I don't want that. I don't want to look vulnerable.
When I opened the door, there he was, caught in the act, head bowed, as he leaves a bundle of flower at my doorstep. Banging his head accidentally to my legs.
"Shit." He said as he slowly raised his gaze at me.
Yoongi step backed as he smile bashfully at his own stupidity. "You're supposed to go out an hour from now." He said as he bit his lower lip as he began walking backwards from me.

"Not even a card?" I said as I picked up the flowers he left inspecting it.
"The things I wanted to say wouldn't fit in a card." He said as he stopped from walking. "Coffee? You're early for your work anyway."
"This is the first time I see you smile." I said as Yoongi scratched his head while I'm feeling confused at the situation.
"I wish I have better line but, Sorry, Jessie. I have to go." His lips arc downward, maybe he's thinking that I'm rejecting his offer by not answering his question.
"I didn't say no. I'll just leave the flowers inside, there's a coffee shop downstairs."

Yoongi would look outside then at me smiling, then bow his head. My forehead furrowed at his weird behavior.
"Haven't dated in a while have we? You seem to be nervous." I said chuckling as I nod at the waitress bringing our coffee.
"Oh, I'm dating... these days... months... ago." He said shyly.
"If you say so. It's just weird seeing you like this. Unsettling eyes. Smiling at nothing. You're usually mad or sleeping." Somehow I find my self doing the same thing. Never looking at him directly and smiling at nothing, unsettled about me being alone with him.
"I just didn't know I'll have a date today, I never dated someone as beautiful as you." He snorted as he stir his coffee.
"Are you flirting at me Min Yoongi? This is not a date, though. This is when you should say the things you should have written on the card including the reason why you have no plans of telling me it was from you."
