Some Time With Maegan

I soon got back home. I entered my house and saw Yuri reading in the living room while my sister was watching TV. I took a seat next to Yuri and lied my head on her. She responded by smiled and leaning her head on mine.

"Whatcha up to," I asked.

"Just reading like always. What happened with your friend?"

"Ah, it was a false alarm. I overreacted again, nothing really happened."

"Oh well, that's fine. I'm just glad you're safe."

"Well even if something did happen, I would still be safe. I wouldn't let myself get killed since I know you're here waiting for me." I put my arm around her. "You mean everything to me. I gotta make sure I come back to care for my dearest girlfriend."

She smiled and continued to read her book. I just sat with her and used my phone. I even took a small nap, since there really wasn't much else to do.

By the time I woke up from my "small" nap, it was already night time. I checked my phone and it was already eleven. Yuri was still sitting next to me, as if she was waiting for me to wake up. As I sat up next to her, she looked at me and smiled.

"Oh, you're awake."

"Yup. Ah, but it's late already. You're not gonna go to sleep?"

She yawned as I spoke to her. "Well, I do feel a little tired. I was hoping you'd wake up soon so that we could sleep together."

"Oh well, I kind of feel somewhat energized. You can rest in the room, I'm gonna watch TV. I'll go over there when I start to feel tired."

"Oh well, okay."

I gave her a hug. "Sleep well Yuri. I'll go to the room in a bit."

"Goodnight, Danny."

She headed to the guest room and while I stayed in the living room and watched TV. After maybe about an hour, I got a text. It was from Maegan.

"Hey Danny, you wanna hang out?"

"What? It's midnight... are you sure you wanna hang out now?"

"Yeah! Just like old times!"

During our sophomore year, Maegan and I would sometimes sneak out at night and hang out. It was actually pretty nice and peaceful. And well, I had a huge crush on her at the time, so I especially enjoyed the time that we spent alone together.

"Alright, you wanna meet up in the same spot?"

"Yeah. Text me when you're ready."

I headed to the restroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. After I was done, I texted Maegan letting her know that I was ready to meet up with her. When I sent the message I headed to our spot, which was really just the corner of the block. There was a nice place to sit though.

I sat at the spot and waited for Maegan. She came about a minute later.

"Hey Danny."

"Oh hey Maegan."

She took a seat next to me. "What's up? How have you been?"

"I've been alright I guess. Some complications, but life's been pretty good. How about you?"

"I've been alright too."

"Ah that's good. You have any plans for the summer?"

"No, I don't think so. Do you?"

"Nah. I think I'm just gonna spend most of time at home."

"Oh well, that's alright. I mean, if we're both at home, it'll give us more time to hang out."
