You phone ding dongs and a notification pops on the screen. You see the boys had posted a video of them singing Air of the night. You click it and wait for it to load.
"There's a light when you walk in the room" Corbyn sings
You watch as one by one they come on stage and stand in a line. You frown a bit when the dancing music after the first chores is skipped and your boyfriend starts singing. Once they all are on stage you watch carefully when the beat kicks in
"Dance together smooth step"
You see them all doing the smooth step and you fall in love with it immediately.
"Baby I'm home"
You turn around to find Jonah walking into your house.
"Baby baby baby teach me this teach me " you say jumping up and down
"Wow calm down pie. What can I do?" He giggles
You show him you phone
"I want to learn the smooth step. Now!"
He nods while chuckling
"Ok. Come stand beside of me"
You nod and leave your phone on the table before standing beside of him.
"So first I'll tell you how its its done leg by by leg. Now your left leg. Put your feet out like this"
You do as he says
"Go now. Put it back in place"
You do it
"Good. Now put your heal in"
You do it
"Now back"
You follow his step
"Now do those together"
You move your feet and heal
"Now your right leg goes opposite way. When you put your left feet out the right heal goes in and vise versa like this"
He skillfully does it. You nod and try it but don't succeed. You huff and keep trying. But both your feet seem to move in the same direction.
"Concentrate love" he says
"Its so hard Jonah" you whine
"That's until you learn it. You can do it.just watch me"
You watch him do it and try it out but you mess it up again.
"Try doing it slowly"
Still you don't succeed. He sigh and look at him
"You can do it"
For the next one hour you keep practicing and Jonah keeps encouraging you. But you don't learn it still.
"I'm done. Lets forget it" you say and walk away
You go into the bathroom and wash your face. You look down and Jonah's words ring through your ears.
"Slowly" you whisper
You start doing it leg by leg and then together. It works! You finally start smooth stepping . your smile widens and you run into the hall.
"Baby baby baby I got it" You exclaim and jump into his arms
He clings onto you and you both jump in joy. You pull away and show him the step.
"Awesome!" He says
"What's awesome?" Someone says
You both turn around to find the other four boys walk into the house.
"Y/N learned the smooth step!" Jonah exclaims
"That's awesome. Well done" They exclaim and give you a group hug
"How long did it take?" Corbyn asks
"Nearly an hour" you reply
"Wow! I took an whole day to learn that!" Zach says
"So did I" Daniel says
"I learnt it in an hour" Jonah proudly says
"Like boyfriend like girlfriend" Jack states causing you to giggle
"Lets do it together! It will be fun" Corbyn says
All agree. You play the song on your phone and all of you start singing.
You all get in line and soon as the beat kicks in you all smooth step together. After its over you all get into a group hug and yell "yeah!"
