Recap:

When we reached Landyn's house I immediately snapped out of my dazed state. You could say that I managed to make myself look like a fool or was acting unlike myself. You can't blame me though because I just learned that the big football jock actually loved hockey, sport that most students at our school frowned apon.

Sitting on Landyn's bed, peering at his laptop as he worked on his portion of the PowerPoint was boring. After constantly rolling over and earning a scolding from Landyn I managed to find a comfortable position.

As the time wore on, my eyes grew heavy. I struggled to stay awake and was pleasantly surprised when I felt a blanket being placed over the top of me. Soon after a weight layed down beside me and I drifted off to sleep.

Angela's POV

I awoke with a jolt. The events of last night fuzzy in my brain. Rolling over I quickly noticed that the orange, black and white walls I had grown acustom to in my 16 years wasn't the same color. Either Scott snuck in in the middle of the night and painted or-

Wait, this isn't my room at all. It smelled overwhelmingly of Axe and had Starwars characters on the walls.

My morning haze and confusion was quickly put to an end when no other Landyn sauntered into the room. He was wearing a blue Quicksilver t-shirt and jeans that hung lazily on his hips. His hair still tousled from sleeping.

In his arms he carried a silver tray holding a glass of orange juice and a bowl of what I guessed was oatmeal or cereal.

I began to panic. "OMG! Why didn't you wake me up. I need to get home. We have school. I didn't tell my mom. What's going on?" I knew I was rambiling, but this situation called for it.

He set down the tray on the small coffee table between the bean-bag chairs and the TV. His demeanor was calm but he had worry lines between his eyebrows. He moved to the side of the bed.

"Don't worry. I've got it figured out. It's only 6:45. School doesn't start until 8:00. Let's gather your things then go to your mom's house and I'll explain everything." He still looked unsure but it was enough for me. I climed out of his cloud soft bed and grabbed my shoes that I had placed by his bedroom door.

I ate the breakfast that he had brought from downstairs when I had woken up. Oatmeal had never been a food I had eaten voluntarily nevertheless Landyn's oatmeal was great. When I asked his if he made it he grinned cheekily and blushed.

After gathering my schoolwork, which was all over the room, I managed I clammer down the stairs and outside. Landyn's car was parked neatly behind what I assumed were his mom and dads' cars.

The whole family apperently drove fancy sport cars. My beat up StationWagon, which was in dire need of repair so much it couldn't be driven, looked like a pile of poo compared to the exquisite hunks of foreign masterpiece. I knew Landyn's family was rich, but this was ridiculous.

Pulling up to my house, Landyn's face began to pale. I'm guessing he believed my mother was going to chew him out and accuse him of objectionable acts against young women. Boy was he wrong.

Immediately apon entering the house, my mom squeezed me into a hug looking relieved and oddly proud all at the same time. When she noticed that Landyn was behind me standing awkwardly with his eyes fixed to the ground she stepped back and stare at him.

Then, to my surprise, she immediatly turned to begin questioning me. "Is this the boy you're working in the project with? He's cute. Were you with him all night? Where did you sleep? Is he single? Is-" I cut her off with a wave of my hand. She silenced.

"Mom, I was at his house and we accidentally fell asleep. Yes we were working on the project. We slept in the same bed except nothing happened, okay?."

She nodded but I could see the excitement shine in her eyes. I gave her a look as to say, 'don't play 20 questions with him' and exited to my bedroom/bathroom. I stripped off my clothes before pulling my hair out of it's loose and untidy pony before stepping into a hot steamy shower.

I spent only a few short minutes in the remarkable wonderland before stepping out and changing into another pair of jeans and another tee. I could hear my mother and Landyn chatting comfortably in the living room. Mom still probably played 20 questions with him anyway but he sounded as relaxed as he possibly could given the current situation.

My still wet hair was pulled into its usual ponytail and my trusty Converse placed on my feet before I proceeded down the stair way.

Landyn's POV

Angela's mother, who's name I had learned was Malissa, was a bundle of energy. She looked and acted so much like Anglea there was no mistaking there relation. Though Angela's hair was bright red, her mothers was blonde. I'm guessing the red hair gene either skipped a generation or her dad had it.

I could hear the water of her showers running and I wondered if her mother could chat on forever. Though Malissa seemed very social and outgoing, Angela was more relaxed and reserved. I don't believe I ever would have talked to Angela if it weren't for the project or to harass her and her friend.

I'll admit, I was never very nice to Scott. I was hoping to make amends with him soon; hopefully he would except my apology. Before I met Angela I believed Scott was a soul-less monster. I had no idea why. After seeing him so excited over something as little as little as his boyfriend coming to visit made me see him differently.

A little after I heard the shower water go off, I heard Angela's footsteps beat down the stairs. When I caught sight of her I was amazed, she looked beautiful.

Angela grabbed her bookbag and marched to the front door. I quickly stood up after her. I waved goodbye to Malissa and trudged after Angela. She looked in a rush.

Jumping into my car Angela turned to face me. Her georgeous green eyes bore into mine. I had to turn to face the wheel to not show the blush I knew was evident on my face.

I had to ask. "So, why are you in such a hurry?"

She replyed, "if you hadn't noticed, we have ten minutes to get to class. And I don't want to be late." I nodded understandingly.

She gazed out her window, deep in thought. I couldn't believe what was happening.

I had a crush on Angela Darwin.

Hello lovelies.

Weird fact, my favorite number is 7.

I went back and edited all of the past chapters and made them less cliche. You may want to re-read those though it's not much different.

I would like to thank ChocolateIcecreamX3 for the lovely complements. She has two great stories beginning and she needs more read/comments/votes so let's give her some support.

Feel free to message me!

Love you,

-M
