Time stood still. I gazed into his beautiful eyes. I could smell the comforting smell of his cologn and something woody. The smell I loved.
He finally spoke, "Anglea, I don't know how to say it so I just will. I like you a lot and I don't know if you feel the same way so-" I gave him a look.
"You should really take a breathe between your monologs."
I grabbed his shoulders and pulled him to me.
Then his lips were on mine.

Angela's POV
The kiss was short and sweet with more passion than I had ever felt before. After a few seconds, Landyn pulled away. I stared into his gorgeous brown eyes. They held so much emotion: I could see the worry and hope surge behind them, running marathons.
Landyn sat down on the bench beside me and pulled me close. The embrace was more than just a friendly jesture. His framiliar scent sent chills down my spine as he held me, stroking my hair. "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that."
I laughed. Picnic completely forgotten, we began to march back through the grass. His hand perfectly molded to mine.
He pulled open the screen door and motioned me inside. I sat at the dinning room table. "So, how's life?" I asked awkwardly.
He turned and gave me his trademark smirk, sitting down beside me. "So are you just going to pretend you didn't just kiss me?" He retorted. He looked cocky but I could still see the worry in his eyes.
I could feel the heat rise in my cheeks. He was right, I was the one that initiated the kiss. "I don't know, do you want to?" He turned to face me.
"Angela, do you remember what I told you before?" I nodded, "Of course I don't want to forget the kiss. I want to be with you."
The blush returned to my face. I stood up and so did he. I wrapped my arms around him and burried my face in his chest. He stiffened before hugging me back. I could get used to this. He made me feel so comfortable and safe.
"I want to be with you too Landyn. But, do I get a proper proposal?" He stared at me quizzically before understanding. He took a step away from me, standing about two feet away. He took my hands in his, getting on one knee.
"Angela Darwin, will you be my girlfriend?" I nodded and he stood to hug me again. "I had better get you home. It's already 11:00." I didn't want to leave but I had to. Mom was probably home and worried about me.
Before I could start moving, I was picked up bridal style. Giggling I attempted to withdraw from his grasp. I wiggled alittle to at least get comfortable. "Stop moving or I'm going to drop you, wiggle worm."
I giggled again and was soon put into the passenger seat of my car. "Keys." He told me.
I got them out of my pocket. "How are you going to get home if you leave my car at my house?"
"I'll just call Darris and have him pick me up."
I just signed and shrunk down in my old seats.

After being dropped off at home I called Scott. He picked up on the third ring. "Hello?"
"Scott, you'll never guess what?"
"Landyn finally manned up and kissed you." I could hear the smirk in his voice.
"How did you know?"
"He called me after you dropped us off."
"Oh, okay. Talk to you later."
"Yep." Then he hung up."
I went back to my Mom's room. I could hear her heavy breathing. She worked so hard, I couldn't have asked for a better parent.
I crept back to my room, climbed into bed and fell asleep. It was an amazing day.

Being pushed onto the floor by your noisy best friend and his boyfriend isn't the best way to wake up.
"Hey," I yelled. "Is this how you're going to wake me up every time you need to talk to me?" Evan chuckled and Scott rolled his eyes. They glanced at each other and smiled. Their eyes sparkling.
"Come on. Get dressed you have a story to tell us." Evan said.
"But it's too early to wake up." I complained.
The next thing I knew I was being forcefully dragged into the bathroom by two annoying boys. I could hear the shower water running and I wasn't planning on being helpful anytime soon. Scott had done this once before and it hadn't ended well.
"You had better get up and get in that shower or I will just throw you in." Scott warned.
I relented and pushed them out of my bedroom. "Go downstairs and wait, I'll be down in a few."
After doing my morning routine I walked downstairs. Scott and Evan were on the couch locked in a heated makeout session. "Ahh, my eyes!" I shouted before ducking into the kitchen. I heard them both laugh then get up.
Evan made Scott so happy. He made an awesome addition to our little family. But if he broke Scott's heart I would crush him like a bug.
They slowly wandered into the kitchen. "What do you want for breakfast?" I asked them.
"Pancakes!" Scott shouted.
"Waffles!" Shouted Evan.
'Ding! Dong!' Shouted the doorbell.
"Well you guys settle that while I get the door." They glared at me before going back to arguing over the breakfast of their choice.
Running down to the landing I opened the door. I was shocked at who was standing there.
"Dad?"
