Unlocking my car door, I hoped in my car. Tears streaming down my face. I felt like a complete idiot. I had fallen for a jerk. One who I knew would cheat on me.
I drove to Scott's house. He answered the door. I knew I looked a mess. My face puffy, tear staines on my face. Shivering from cold.
"What happened?!" He yelled. A look of realization flashed on his face. "I will kill him." He ushered me into the house. Sitting me down on the couch.
He grabbed me a blanket. Running up to his room. He soon returned with a pair of sweats and a t-shirt.
He popped popcorn while I changed, and put in a movie. We snuggled on the couch, my tears still soaking into his shirt. His pity party didn't seem like a bad thing now. I completely understood.
The movie progressed and I soon had my head on Scott's lap. His hand running calmingly through my hair.
It wasn't long before my eyes got heavy and I drifted into sleep.

Angela's POV
I was shaken away at about 10:30 PM. Scott had moved me to laying on the couch. He was sprawled out on the floor in front of me. My eyes wouldn't open. They were glued together with sleep.
"We had better get you home." Scott's dad Micheal said. He had lightly shaken me awake; Scott awoke soon after me.
I rolled over and stretched, making baby dinosaur noises. Scott chuckled. Slowly standing up while popping his back.
I grabbed my jeans and t-shirt that Scott had been so kind to dry out of the dryer while frantically searching for my car keys. I finally found them down the couch. It wasn't the first time I had found then there.
I had a terrible habit of loosing them.
I quickly hugged Scott goodbye, him hugging me tightly the way he had done all these years.
I got in my car, contemplating wether I should bother checking my phone. I decided against it. It was dark out and the streets were empty. It only made my insides hurt more. I had actually started to believe Landyn only had eyes for me. I was way wrong.
Pulling up in the driveway, I unbuckled and grabbed my bag out of the back. I knew mom was home, her car was in the driveway.
I unlocked the door with the key that was on the lanyard in my pocket, then quietly snuck inside. I was hoping my mom would be asleep when I got home, albeit I had no such luck. Taking one look at my face my mother traversed to me. Taking my face in her hand and stroking her thumbs on my cheekbones. Just as she had done when I was a child.
"Oh, honey. What happened?" I shrugged.
She place her hand on my shoulder, leading me to the love seat that sat under a small window. She say down and pulled e into her lap. I was a good bit taller than her but sitting sideways it didn't matter. We hadn't had a time like this in ages.
I couldn't hold back my sniffles as I thought of this afternoon's events. Mom looked me dead in the eye. "Are you going to tell me what's wrong, or an I going to have to call Landyn myself." She threatened.
"No! No! No!" I yelled. Beginning to get up. "That won't be nessisary." Mom sighed.
She moved over and patted the spot beside her. I sat back down.
"After Landyn's hockey practice, the whole team went to Burger King. While we where there,MaLandyn dissapeared and when I went to look for him I found him kissing Brandy." Tears where now thick in my voice. I could feel one rolling down my cheek.
Mom wiped the tear away, moving her arm around me, holding me close. "If he cheats, he's not worth it." I sighed.
"Mom, I think I loved him."
She gave me a sympathetic look. "I know, Honey. I could see it in your eyes." She moved her head down kissing me on the top of my head. "Go to bed, morning will come soon."

Landyn's POV
When Brandy put her disgusting disease ridden lips on mine I couldn't help but cringe. Trying despeitly to free myself from her grasp. I tried to pull my arms feom hers but her nails dug into my skin.
I pulled my face away from her but she just kept kissing. I was finally able to pull my hand from her and pull away but not before hearing a sound I was dreading.
Angela.
I ignored the smirking Brandy and made my way to Angela. She darted for the door. I hung my head in shame. I had promised to stay true to her and I had failed.
I sulked back to the table. My jacket layed where Anglea had left it minutes before. Guilt settled deep in my gut. My head pounded. I layed my head down on the table.
"What's wrong, Captain?" Someone said.
I looked up to see Drew Wilcox.
"I've messed up bad." I mumbled.
"You really love her don't you?" He asked. I nodded. "Then you have got to try to get her back." He stated like it was the simplest thing in the world.
"I don't know."
"Come on." He grabbed my arm and pulled me to my feet. "Time for damage control."
