Chapter Thirteen~

I quickly turned the handle of the door with my good hand and flung my wet shoes off, letting them hit the wall. Loki decided to sit on the carpet, and slowly unlace his boots instead, setting them down neat against the wall, unlike me. I had my unharmed hand covering my other one, still feeling it burn. I was afraid to look at it. I knew it would be hard. I fell down on the small couch and decided to slowly peel away my good hand, from my bad. The hand was shaking uncontrollably as I finally saw the burn. My skin on the back of my hand had disolved away, leaving raw flesh open and exposed. My entire hand was a soft pink.  It hurt my stomach so much to continue to look at it. Loki saw me in pain on the small couch, and joined me, sitting very close.

"I'm so sorry..." Loki began looking down at my hand. I was tired of everything being about me. Alice's hand is hurt, Alice can't go out in the rain. I wanted a subject change very badly.

"Um...It's fine...It's not your fault." I quickly stood up from the crowed couch and ran inside the bathroom which was right next to the kitchen. As soon as I was inside, I exhailed a breath of smoke that I had need to let out for a while now. The bathroom was a pale grey in color, me and Olivia had gotten too lazy to paint it a shade we both better prefer. I swung open every other drawer underneith the sink, searching for the gauz or something I could cover my hand in. Finally I found something that I thought you were only supposed to use on hurt ankles, but I fingured it was fine for my hand. I exited the bathroom, still wrapping my injery, and sat back down next to Loki on the couch. I was sitting so close to him. I felt the time slow down a bit, as I looked up at him.

"Thank you." I said leaning in closer to him. I wondered if he liked me as much as I liked him. He grinned at me and brushed a stray blonde hair out of my face. His hands were so cold, but I loved the way it felt when he touched me.

"It was no trouble at all." Loki said smiling down at me. I breathed slower as he stared down at me with his deep green eyes. "So why did you invite me here?" Loki asked changing the subject. "I mean.. why did you ask me to come stay with you all week?" He pressed his eyesbrows together and was waiting for my answer.

"I- I don't know. I like you. I didn't want you to have to stay on the helicarrier all by yourself. And Thor was going to leave.... I just didn't want to be...alone I guess." I answered, looking away from his eyes. I wanted him to kiss me and I didn't know why. His palm was resting on my jaw and he brushed his thumb over my lips. I didn't care anymore that basically everyone in the world would disaprove of my love for Loki. I knew that he was aweful and evil, but he didn't act that way around me. Loki opened his arms up for me and I slowly fell into them, with him him embracing me. My head was resting on his cold chest and we just stopped talking and enoyed the rest of the night together.
