"We're so happy you're finally here!" Kaycee said, smiling widely at Kailani. "Julian non-stop talks about you. He said you guys used to dance all the time when you guys were little."

Kailani laughed. "Yep. When I used to live in Jersey, our families would always be together and me and Jules would be off somewhere dancing to whatever was on the radio. It was so often that our parents just decided to enroll us into a studio eventually. And it's all history from there."

Chloe giggled. "That's so cute! Why did you leave Jersey?"

"My parents decided to go back to the Philippines and I lived there since I was 11. I was still able to dance luckily and attend workshops and stuff but they're nothing like the workshops here. Matt's workshop was so incredible and I just got lucky that they asked me to come here." she replied.

All the girls hung onto her every word, excited to finally be getting another girl into their crew and wanted to know as much about her as possible.

Then she caught Sean looking at her from across the room.

"If you don't mind me asking, what's his deal?" Kailani whispered to the Bailey and Lexee.

She looked towards the guys then back at her. "Who? Sean?"

Kailani nodded. "Yeah, why is he so full of himself?"

Lexee sighed. "We've all been dancing with Sean for a long time. For some of us, since before we were like 10 and for others, just these last few years. He wasn't always like that. It's only been this past year that he started getting cocky. He doesn't really interact with his fans anymore because he thinks he's too good for that and he expects the spotlight whenever we record our choreo videos." she looked towards Sean.

Bailey chimed in. "Look, we love Sean, we really do, and we're all really close. It's just not the same sometimes. If I'm being honest, I think he's starting to lose his sense of why he loves to dance and create. Because if you ask me, at this point it just seems like he just does it to gain praise and attention because he knows he's an incredible dancer...it just fuels the fire in his head when people know it too."

Geez, Kailani thought, how good can this kid be?

"Alright, guys, listen up! You guys should be stretched and warmed up by now so we are going to start class!" Matt called out. Everyone stopped what they were doing and formed a circle around the middle of the room so Matt could give everyone the opening instructions of how class was going to work. "So, a lot of you here have been to many of my classes so you know how this works. But for those who don't know, pay attention." he paused, scanning the room. "So, how this is going to work is we're going to learn the choreography for the first half and then we are all going to rehearse it for the half after that. Then for the final part of class, I will be calling out groups of dancers to do the choreography in front of the class and for the video that will be going up on Youtube. If you are not called this time, do not be discouraged. Everyone does choreography in their own styles and it does not at all mean that that style does not deserve to be showcased. It's just that some styles work better with the message and moves of the choreography." he said. Then his gaze turned towards Kailani.

Oh shit, I knew it, she thought.

"But before we start, I want to introduce our newest dancer to join us here at Millennium. She's coming straight from the Philippines and is our very own Julian's cousin. I met her at my Manila workshop this past month and was absolutely speechless by her talent." he said before motioning for Kailani to join Matt in the circle. "Guys, please welcome Kailani DeGuzman."
