I walked through the door into the house that my fiancè and I own. And saw Staci putting his phone down, I walked over the gave him a kiss. "Who were you on the phone with?" Staci shrugged. "Oh, it was just my mom." I ran my hand through his black hair. "Does she know that you're engaged to a man?" Staci shook his head and sat down. "No...I never told her, I don't really feel the need to tell her." I sighed and sat down and put my arm around Staci's shoulder. "I guess if that's how you want to handle it...than that's okay." I leaned in and gave him a kiss. "So how was work today Deputy Pratt." I said with a laugh. "Well I'm not really supposed to give you any details on what's going on...But we're planning on going in and arresting a religious cult leader." I thought for a second and turned to Staci. "Does this cult leader happen to have the last name Seed?" Staci gave me a strange look. "Yeah...Why?" I looked up at the ceiling. "Well, one morning a few weeks ago after you left for work a man came to the door and wanted to talk about religion with me...I thought it was a little strange because I could see tattoos on him" I looked over at Staci. "Nah...He seemed sweet, but now days you can hardly tell anything about anyone." Staci nodded his head in agreement and looked at me. "Why didn't you say anything about it?" I shrugged. "I don't know...I guess I forgot about the whole thing." We sat in silence for a minute and Staci leaned his head up my shoulder. I smiled to myself and kissed his forehead. I took in the scent of Staci's hair. "Promise me that you'll be safe..." Staci sat up and put his hand on my cheek. "You know that I'll be safe..." Staci said with a loving look in his eyes. I sighed. "I know, I know...It's just that I get scared everytime you leave the house..." I looked deeply into his eyes. "I just don't know what I would do if I lost you..." Staci leaned forward and kissed me. I kissed him back and rested my forehead against his. "You're not gonna lose me...It's easy work, we just to in and take their leader and then I'll be right back in your arms....I love you, (Y/n)..." I kissed him again and
pulled him into a hug.
