Chapter 29:

"I think we have to keep you overnight." Dr.Henglin said.

"Is she going to be okay?"

"Michael, we need to run some-"

"His name is Michael?" I interrupted.

The man came over to me and grabbed my hand.

"Yes, I'm Michael" He said with a sign of hope in his eyes.

The name Michael sounded familiar to me for some reason yet this Michael that's stood in front of me was a complete stranger.

"Do you remember me?" He asked gripping my hand tighter.

I thought hard.

Michael. Michael?

"I'm sorry, no I don't remember." I said.

Michael put his head down. He looked up teary eyed and sniffled.

"Let us run some tests okay? She's in there don't worry." Dr.Henglin said.

Both the doctor and the nurse left the room and it was just me and Michael.

"I still love you." He whispered.

"I'll love you whether your Shelby or Natasha."

This man sounds like he really cares for me, or at least the person they're saying I am.

"What's your relationship with Natasha?" I asked.

"I'm her teacher...and her boyfriend." he said lowly.

"Damn, Natasha is badass! And so are you taking a risk like that." I said.

"I've said this to you before, it's about the risk and-

"The risk and the love?" I said.

Still holding my hand, he stood up.

"You remember." He smiled.

"I've heard it somewhere before" I said.

"You're remembering!"

"No, I could've heard that anywhere Michael."

"That's not possible." He said.

"And how would you know?" I snapped back.

"I made that up, and I've only said it to Natasha." He said.

"Then it's a coincidence." I said.

I could see Michael's face grow agitated with my attempt to be right.

"Please come back Natasha, come back to me." He whispered letting go and sitting down.

The nurse came back with a wheel chair and asked me to go with her, Michael followed. She wheeled me past one, two, three, about four hallways until we reached room #777. There was a really hot guy sitting on the chair right next to the hospital bed watching sports.
