Harry and I are cooking lunch. We are making soup and to be honest he is doing most of the work.

The soup needs a stir so I take off the lid. Without thinking that the lid of the pot is metal too, I clap my hands around the handle on top of the lid and pick up the pot. As soon as I do so I drop the lid and clench onto my hand.

"Ow!" I scream and blow on my hand.

Harry turns around from chopping the vegetables and looks at my hand. "What did you do?" he grabs ahold of my hand and looks at the red line striking through my palm.

"I forgot the lid was metal and didn't lift it up with a cloth."

"You bloody idiot" he pulls me by the hand towards the sink and runs the cold water. "Those ones don't have the rubber bit on the top I thought you'd be able to see that."

I shake my head. "I wasn't thinking."

Harry holds my hand under the cold water, occasionally removing it from the water only to put it back under it again. The cold water helps a lot as it soothes the pain.

After running it under water, Harry brings my hand up to his lips and kisses my palm. "All better?"

I smile at him and then hold my hand to my chest. "As magical as your kisses are Styles, it still hurts like a bitch."

Harry laughs and grabs an icepack from the freezer. He picks up the cloth on the table. "See this, this is what you should have used to pick that up" he waves the white fabric in my face.

"I know, I'm stupid." Harry hands me the ice pack and points to the opposite side of the kitchen. "What?" I ask.

He pushes me gently "out of the kitchen. You're hopeless so you can just observe."

I do as he says and sit on the other side of the island. "Fine by me, I'll just sit and admire the view."

Harry lifts up his shirt and does a little dance with his shirt over his head.

"Oh, I was referring to the carrots, they're looking marvellous. But I guess you are alright too."

Harry picks up one of the carrots and throws it at me. It bounces off my chest and lands on the table in front of me so I pick it up and eat it.

"Those are unwashed" he tells me and I shrug. It'll promote my immune system. "So have you heard anything about Rebecca's party?"

"I haven't been on Instagram or seen anybodies Snapchat stories so I haven't heard anything yet." I let out an annoyed groan. "That reminds me. I need to go over to Rebecca's to get an outfit for today from my wardrobe."

"Whilst you're there you should pack some clothes to leave here."

I look at him curiously. "Why's that?"

"You're here a lot so I figured it's best if you leave clothes here. I mean, you're fine wearing my clothes but if you wanted your own stuff here I think it might be handy."

"You're okay with that?" I ask him.

"With what? You having clothes here?"

I nod.

"Hailey, I'm the only one living here. Of course I don't mind you bringing some stuff over. It's not like I don't have the room for it."

I stand up and walk over to him. "What are you doing in my kitchen?" He asks me, staring down at me as our chests meet each other's. His eyes are darker in this lighting. They're a darker green instead of their usual bright emerald colour. His pupils are dilated too.
