After hours of writing I have come up with four lines that I feel like I could really work with for an upcoming single. The way they rolled off the tip of the pen in my hand was remarkable.

Oh thinkin' about all our younger years
There was only you and me
We were young and wild and free

We've been down that road before

You keep me comin' back for more

And that is all the writing I have for now because I can hear guests starting to arrive and I am still sitting in my towel so I need to get dressed into something half presentable.

"To be continued song journal" I whisper to myself as I close the book and put it away.

I'm not putting any effort into tonights look whatsoever so I choose to wear a pair of blue mom jeans, a white crop top, black bomber jacket and black pair of shoes.

When I said I wasn't putting on effort I really meant it because I'm not even putting makeup on. If I meet the man of my dreams tonight - which I highly doubt - he will love me in my most natural state if he is truly the one.

I blow dry my hair because the under layers were still damp from previously washing it today. Once my hair is dry I spray my perfume, put deodorant on and walk towards my door.

"It will be fun" I tell myself as I stand in front of the door. I take a few deep breaths and talk myself into walking out there even though I want nothing more to just stay in my room. When I am not looking forward to an event I get anxiety. Social anxiety.

What can I say, I am an introvert most of the time.

I faced up to my fears and exited my room. When I am halfway down the stairs I stop and look around for any familiar faces.

"Hailey" I hear someone call my name and I look to the right. It's Rebecca's friend Ruby.

She's a nice girl. "Hey" I walk down the remainder of the stairs and hug her. "You look great. Love this yellow dress."

"Thanks babe, why aren't you all dressed up?"

I shrug. "Wasn't really feeling it tonight."

She takes a sip of her drink. "Well you look great either way. I wish my skin was as flawless as yours."

"It has it's days, believe me."

"Come get a drink" she grabs onto my hand.

We walk to the fridge and she grabs out the vodka bottle but I reach in and grab my water bottle. "Oh come on, don't be boring." I'm not much of a drinker. It goes straight to my head and after five drinks I am off my face and say things I always regret. I am not a good drunk. According to my friends I am a clingy mess.

"I'm good" I say to her and by the time I finish my sentence she is running off to someone who has just arrived.

As I was looking at where Ruby ran off to, I notice someone standing in the corner who I had no idea was coming. They are standing alone and have their head down, gazing at their phone.

I make my way over to my girl, Barbara and hug her from behind. And no, it's not my grandma Barbara. This is Barbara Palvin.

I hear her sniff. "Hailey, is that you? I can smell you." She turns around and wraps her arms around my neck, almost choking me. "Oh my god it's my girl."

We sway side to side, still hugging each other

We sway side to side, still hugging each other. "I've missed you so much."

"Ahh" she squeals. "I missed you too. I thought you were off on tour."

I shake my head. "Next week I go again."

Barbara looks down at my drink bottle. "Still not fond of the alcohol hey?"

"I am underage here."

"Not in your home land you're not. Or my home land."

I laugh. "True. Only one more year and you are legal to drink here though."

She nods. "And I can't bloody wait."

Suddenly Barbara and I are not the only ones standing in the corner. I turn around to see who has joined us.

"Hi" I say to the guy with piercing blue eyes as he stares straight into mine. I look beside him and see another blue eyed demon and I smile. I turn back to Barbara, thinking these guys are here because she knows them. She just shrugs at me and looks confusedly at the guys.

"What do you say we change up this water for something a litter stronger and get you little lady with no drink in her hands something to drink?" The guy closer to me says.

He reaches for my bottle but I pull it back towards me. "I'm good with this, thank you though." I say politely.

"Oh come on."

I shake my head. "No, but Barbara, do you want something to drink?" I ask her.

"Yes please." She looks straight at the other blue eyed demon. "Come get a drink with me?" She asks him and he walks away with her, leaving me and this very tall man.

"I'm Zac." He tells me.

"Hailey" I hold my hand out and he laughs at the gesture but shakes my hand. He has really soft hands. "So how do you and Rebecca know each other?"

"Rebecca?" He questions.

I am a little taken back. How does he not know Rebecca if this is her house. "The person who is throwing this party."

His mouth widens. "Oh, I don't know her. But we have mutuals who told me about this party so I came." He chuckles. "Do you know her?"

"Yeah, roommates."

He looks intrigued by what I just told him. "Hmm, so do you want to show me around the place?"

"Why, do you want to live here? The bathroom is that way and you don't really need to know anything else." Seriously, he will never come back here after tonight.

He puts his drink down on the cut out in the wall behind me. I have to stop myself from moving it because if it spills it will go all over the artwork on the wall behind it.

Zac puts his hands on my hips and pulls me into him. "Why don't you show me where your bedroom is?"

Is this guy for real? I find myself laughing at him and how desperate he is. We only just found out each others names. I put my bottle under my arm so that I have both my hands free.

I put my hands on his and remove them from around me, pushing him back by his chest after I do so. "I don't think so buddy."

Turning around a grabbing his cup off the wall mount, I hand it to him and sip on my water as I walk off. I look around for Barbara and see her contently chatting to Zac's friend. She looks happy so I will let her be and go back to my room.

As soon as I walk in, I lock my door so no creeps come in or horny kids wanting to have sex on my bed. Gross.

I change into my pyjamas and go to bed.

Now, to watch Netflix or do something productive like going through emails. Emails it is. When I go into my emails I see that I have responses for houses I have inquired about. I reply to them and hopefully one of these places is the one.
