"Finally, the day is over" you sigh, flipping onto your couch. As much as you loved Christmas, it was the most stressful day ever. Zari handed you a glass of Prosecco and sat down next to you, allowing you to rest your head on her shoulder.
"It's been a great day though, hasn't it" she replies. You nod your head as she turns the telly on.
"It has. This was our first Christmas together and I loved it" You reply, looking up at her. She smiles and nods her head.
"This is my first Christmas since everything happened with my family and I'm so thankful it's with you" she replies, moving a strand of you hair behind your ear. You leaned in and kissed her meaningfully.
"You welcome gorgeous" you reply. You turn to the tv to see Love Actually playing. "Oh my god, I love this film!" You say happily, watching the tv.
As you watched the film, Zari watched you. She admired the facial expressions that you pulled and smiled knowing that you were hers. You soon fell asleep,she took the glass out of your hand and covered you with a blanket.
"Merry Christmas baby" she whispers, kissing your cheek.
