I was woken up by John shaking me. "Mate, you fell asleep on the floor." he said gently. I frowned. Sitting up abruptly, I looked around. There were papers scattered around the floor, I squinted at them, then memories of last night came rushing back. I'd spent it researching Moriarty and any links between him and Kara, trying to understand why she would be associating with him. I found nothing. I rose to my feet with a groan and walked into the living room. Sara was sitting in my chair. She watched me with a mischievous smile on her face. "Bishop, out of my chair." I said. She didn't move, but a pointed look had her glare at me before sitting on the arm of John's chair. I gave her a patronising smile. Then froze as I caught sight of the bookcase. The books had been arranged to form a sentence : The place where it all began - JM . Not caring I wasn't dressed, I grabbed my coat and ran out of the house.

I stared at the building in front of me. The pool where Carl Powers died. Fitting I thought wryly. I schooled my features into neutrality, then walked inside. "Well ? I'm here, Come out." I yelled, looking around. I turned as I heard footsteps coming towards me. Moriarty walked towards me. His hand wrapped around....Kara's waist. A wave of nausea rolled over me and I looked away. "Oooh, you didn't expect this, did ya Sherlock ?" Said Moriarty as Kara looked at me blankly. "The woman you love and the man you hate. Such a shame this is the last sight you'll ever see." Continued Kara, her lips curving upwards into a malicious smile. I flinched as she pulled out a gun, "Goodbye Sherlock Holmes." she said. The last thing I saw before I was plunged into the water was Moriarty pulling Kara into a kiss.
