I ignored the glares I was getting from both Sherlock and Sierra, instead focusing on the task at hand. I let out a flirtatious giggle and rested my hand on Mateo's chest. "So tell me what you did after working in biochemistry !" I exclaimed, leading him to the dance floor as a lively tango began to play. I forced an awestruck smile as he yammered in about some fake story he made up. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Sierra glowering at me, fists clenched. My eyes softened for a moment, façade slipping, but then I blinked and focused on my mission. I tipped my head back and laughed at something he said, perfectly playing the part of the simpering fool.
Sierra
I watched Irene and Mateo closely, silently fuming as she let out a surprised laugh as he spun her around. I turned to face Sherlock. He stared at the dance floor wistfully. "Shall we ?" I asked, keeping my eyes on Irene. His eyes lit up until he saw where my gaze was directed, "Come on. You've never been jealous ?" He smirked and opened his mouth to say something before promptly shutting it. I laughed as he grabbed my arm and we danced. There was an unspoken competition as the dance moves got harder and harder until only Irene, Sherlock, Mateo and I were left. "You're Good." I remarked as he dipped me, "Always loved dancing." He replied pulling me back up. I growled slightly, surprising myself, as Irene kissed Mateo on the cheek and walked over to the bar. I dragged a breathless Sherlock off the dance floor, "Thank you." I said sincerely, he nodded before collapsing into a chair. I marched over to the bar, taking a seat next to Irene. "Water please." I Said to the barkeep. I eagerly drank the water, cooling myself off. When I'd finished, I put my glass down. "Having fun are we ?" I muttered to Irene, her crimson coloured lips curved upwards as she received her drink. "Jealous are we ?" She replied, taking a sip. I said nothing, instead storming off. I looked back to see her flash me a maddening smile.Irene
I grinned as I watched Sierra's retreating figure. Her jealousy was the only good thing about this mission, Wait, what ?! I can't be falling for her. I berated myself and turned back to my drink. I emptied the sedative into his drink, watching it dissolve with an evil smile. Then, I picked up the glasses and walked over to Mateo.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I banged into the wall as Mateo crashed his lips to mine. I felt sick, only motivated by the thought that this would soon be over. He stumbled into his room, throwing me onto the bed. 3, 2, 1 I rolled away as he swayed and fell into the bed. I sprang into action, carefully manoeuvring pieces of paper, searching for some proof that he was the head of the Diabolo Cartel. Then I saw it, the seal he used. I took a photo of it, before replacing it. I would make my move tomorrow. Looking at myself in the mirror, I unbuttoned my dress a little, messed up my hair and took off my heels before walking out of the door. Right into Sierra. She was carrying a bottle of water and her eyes widened when she saw me. She took in my appearance before narrowing her eyes. "I understand that you rent yourself out to people on a daily basis to earn money but why would you do that to my brother ?" She spat, I flinched before steeling my resolve. "How dare you. Just because you're jealous of your brother does not mean-"
"I'm not jealous !" She interjected, bristling. "Just because I'm not interested in men does not mean every woman turns my-" I scoffed "Can you really not see it ? I mean it's so obvious, but that fact aside, I am a Dominatrix, The Woman. I'm not going to return the feelings of a lovesick, simpering fool who insists that I shouldn't be making her jealous." I hissed, caught up in the moment. I immediately regretted my words as tears sprang to her eyes. "Wait, Sierra-" she ran into her room, slamming the door behind her.AN : So, lots of different emotions this chapter !!! Hope you enjoyed Xx
