"You're seriously not waiting here for the next few hours, right?" You asked Jimin, seeing as he was beginning to make himself comfortable in his spot.

"Yeah of course I am. I have to give you your surprise after your finished work, remember?" He cheekily smiled and you sighed.

"Well then go out, be free and have fun instead of being locked up in this cafe with me and then come back later" You insisted.

"The outside world is boringgg" He whined.

"Well I wouldn't make a habit of coming here everyday, because it gets boring fast" you sighed while cleaning a table.

"I feel as if you don't want me here Muffin" he pouted, looking for attention.

"Stop putting words in my mouth" you said, jokingly whipping his shoulder with a towel. He hissed from the stinging contact and you laughed at the sight.

"I'm not! I just feel like I would have more fun here, talking to you than with anybody else. Who would I even talk to anyways?" He asked.

"Jimin are you kidding me? You're literally the most popular guy in the school and you've only been here a few weeks! It's obvious there are more interesting people out there to talk to. You know all of them, I mean out of the both of us here, you would know all the interesting people"

"Yeah, I would know...." he says as you nod your head in agreement and walk back to the counter with him following behind and sitting on his stool. He then begins to speak, grabbing your attention.

"Which is exactly why I'm here with you in this cafe instead of out there with any of those idiots"

Oh fuck, your heart is beating unnaturally fast yet again.

Your whole mind went fuzzy and you everything around Jimin faded away and you were left with his silhouette illuminating the room. But then his phone started to ring.

"I gotta take this" he said with a mischievous smile. You could feel the blood rush to your cheeks. You put your hand to your cheeks and could feel heat present there.

"Yeah, you go do that" you murmured while hitting your own head with your hand.

Stupid, stupid, stupid, you scolded yourself with every thump you gave yourself.

He walked outside and took the call. You breath a sigh of relief. You ran your fingers through your scalp and tugged on your hair slightly from frustration.

Your heart is still racing as you recall the incident that happened a few minutes ago in your mind.

You suddenly had a wave of guilt run over you. You can't do this anymore. You can't do this to him.

You looked toward the window and saw Jimin pacing back and forth in front of the entrance.

You decided to enjoy your last evening with him, but then end the friendship. Just cut off contact.

You are aware that you would wholeheartedly take a punch off Alex just to be friends with him. Even though that may be a bit extreme to others. But it's not fair that you put him in danger with his father.

You probably weren't even worth that much to him. You seemed to forget the fact that you have known Jimin for a total of THREE days.

Let's not get too ahead of ourselves.

You knew you were an overthinker but to catch whatever feelings you have for some random guy is stooping low for you, considering there is an extremely high chance he doesn't like you that way or had never even thought of you that way.
