Chapter 22

One week later........

Your POV

I stood to the right of my mother as her army stood below us. I wore a patch over my right eye where that Rose attacked me. There was still a prominent scar going across my eye, making it permanent. Damian stood to my mother's left as I looked down at the army on front of me. Suddenly my mother addressed her army,

"Today is the day where we take back our birth right! No Salem or anyone else may stop us! THIS IS THE DAY VALE FALLS!"

The army cheered before settling down,

"After Vale falls....the other kingdoms will cripple beneath our feet! The blood of the innocents will stain the streets! REMNANT WILL BE OURS!"

The army cheered even louder, and they began to tap the ground with their weapons signalling that they were ready. 

"Now," My mother opened a portal in front of them, "Go reclaim our birthright!" 

The army marched into the portal as Damian and I jumped down to follow them,

"Y/N," I looked up at my mother, "Kill anyone that gets in your way of victory."

I nodded before I stepped through the portal. Our warriors acted fast. They went after civilians as they screamed in terror. Many of the citizens didn't know where to go, so they all just scattered. Although the huntsman and huntress' acted fast as well. They quickly attacked our warriors, making both Damian and I little pissed off. I stormed towards a team that seemed to be giving our warriors a little bit of trouble. I was officially pissed off as I realized it was team CRDL. I had a wicked smile on my face as I summoned my black rock cannon. I aimed it right at Russel and my smile grew wide as I fired my cannon. It was a direct hit hitting Russel right in the chest, leaving a hole. 

"RUSSEL!" Cardin ran to him but he stopped as he saw the gaping hole, "Who did this!? Show yourself!"

"You are in no position to be giving demands Cardin." I snickered as the warriors moved to let me walk towards them 

"You." He growled as he saw me

"What? Are you not happy to see me?" I chuckled before flat out laughing crazily

"You're crazy!" Dove screamed

"Are we just going to sit here and chat or are you going to try and avenge your fallen teammate." I asked smiling

Cardin gritted his teeth before charging at me. This left his other teammates out in the open. I smirked before readying my cannon. I shot off three shots as Cardin thought I was aiming at him. I smirked as he blocked the final one, but the other two found their targets. I smiled as Dove and Sky fell dead. 

"What are you smiling at?!" Cardin demanded

"Turn around." I answered amused

"I'm not falling for that. Dove, Sky come on lets finish her." As he didn't get a response he showed a face of confusion, "Sky? Dove?" 

He finally turned around, "NO!!!" He screamed with rage and I laughed as he turned back around, "I'll kill you!"

I decided to make this at least fun for me, so I switched my sword. I blocked his mace and kicked him in the stomach making him stumble back. I went on the defensive until we battled in front of a huge crowd. We stood in the middle of a street where Beacon students and warriors were fighting. I smiled as I saw my former team, and other familiar faces. Glynda, Winter, Qrow, Ironwood, and a woman with a mask seemed to watch me along with helping students. I smirked and turned my attention back to Cardin. I pushed him back, causing me to see an opening. He left his chest wide opened, and I charge right at him, impaling my sword in his chest. I removed my sword causing him to fall to his knees. He clutched his chest as he fell to the ground,

"Now you can be reunited with your teammates." I smiled as I saw the life fade from his eyes. 

I looked up and I saw the 'adults' look at me with shock in their eyes. The woman with the mask I couldn't tell since, well, she had a mask. My eyes fell on team RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, my former team, and, surprisingly the teams that I met during the tournament. A wicked smirk appeared back on my face as I looked at Cardin's body,

"On second thought," I summoned my cannon and aimed it at his head, "I better make sure he's dead." 

I smiled at the teams as I pulled the trigger. Ruby covered her mouth as she saw blood go everywhere. Of course some of the blood landed on me, but I didn't care. I let out an annoyed 'tsk' as I noticed it got on my clothes, 

"What an annoyance." I growled before turning to the other teams, " Now who is next?"

Suddenly I heard a warrior let out a warning cry. I turned to the source and noticed that the White Fang had arrived. I growled before turning back to the teams, although this time there was a red headed faunus standing between us.

"I will be your next opponent." He unsheathed his weapon and pointed it at me

"Adam?" I heard Blake ask

"Ah. So your the proclaimed Adam Taurus. I've heard much about you. I hope that you'll be more of a fight than...these huntsmen." I smiled wickedly as I summoned my sword

"I'll give you fight." He growled

I chuckled,

"I hope so. Your reputation upholds your fighting spirit. Especially when it comes to humans and their academies. Also faunus' seemed to have more to fight for, since well, most humans don't give them the respect that they deserve." I smirked as I saw him clench his sword, "Especially when someone threatens a familiar cat faunus." 

"Don't threaten her life!" He ordered

"Oh don't worry. After I've killed you, she'll be next. Or maybe I'll kill her as your dying slowly, unable to do anything," I started laughing like crazy, but I calmed myself, "Now enough talk. Lets fight shall we?"
