Chapter 20 (I take a trip to the Infirmary)

I woke up the next morning feeling like crap.

"Woah what did you do? Get hit by a bus?" Percy asked when he saw me.

"No, but I feel like I did" I groaned getting out of bed.

As soon as I started to move I felt a splitting pain in my head.

"Ow" I whined.

"I think we should take you to see Chiron" Percy said helping me up.

"Ok" I said. I wasn't going to argue with Percy on this one.

As soon as I started moving I was hit in a wave of nausea.

"I feel like I'm going to be sick." I groaned.

"Here eat this" Percy said handing me some ambrosia.

I uneasily are it.

My nausea want away but I still felt like shit.

"Can you move?" Percy asked me.

I nodded and he helped me towards the door.

Percy helped me out of the cabin and started helping me down the path towards the Big House.

Only after I couple feet did we run into non other than my boyfriend.

"Elise what's wrong?" Leo asked when he came across Percy and I.

"Elise has hit the early stages of morning sickness" Percy joked.

I shot him a glare.

"Not even funny Percy" I hissed.

Leo just gave me a look of concern.

"No, Elise just woke up feeling like shit so I was taking her to the infirmary" Percy explained.

"Oh let me help you then" Leo said offering his help.

I didn't object as Leo helped me walk.

I started feeling the wave of nausea coming.

"Do you want me to carry you?" Leo asked sweetly.

I nodded and he picked me up bridal style.

My heart started to beat a little faster when I was in his arms.

"It's okay if you want to go Percy I can take her to the Infirmary" Leo said to Percy.

Percy seemed a little hesitant at first but then agreed and headed towards breakfast.

Leo carried me to the Infirmary and set me down on a bed.

"One of the Apollo campers will be coming by shortly, ok?" Leo said concerned.

I nodded.

"Thank you Leo" I said honestly.

"What are boyfriends for?" he said with his silly grin.

I laughed. "I must look like hell right now" I groaned.

"You're always beautiful" Leo said kissing my forehead.

I felt my heart jump.

But why?

"You're going to get sick if you stay here too long" I warned him.

"I'll take my chances" Leo said.

His warm brown eyes were staring into mine and I felt a little tug in my heart.

That's the third time in the past 30 minutes.

"Leo?" I asked him.

"Yeah" he said.

"Don't you normally work in the forges" I asked him.

"Yeah but today I'm going to stay with you to make sure you get better" he said stroking my hair.

"Thanks Leo" I said giving him a smile.

He gave me a smile back and an Apollo camper came in the room.

"Oh, Hey Elise" The camper said quietly.

I quickly recognized him.

"Hey ,Henry" I said.

Well this shouldn't be awkward at all.

"So I can see your definitely under the weather today, can you tell me if you've been having any symptoms such as nausea, dizziness, pain?" Henry said.

"Um actually all three" I answered.

"Hmm, Well it seems that you just have a migraine and it's probably best for you to rest" Henry said writing something down.

"Can't you just give me some ambrosia and nectar and ship my off?" I asked.

"Well there's only so much that they can do. It's best if you just rest and drink lots of fluids" Henry said leaving Leo and I.

"Great" I grumbled.

"Do you want to stay here or do you want to go back to your cabin?" Leo asked me.

"Cabin?" I said looking at him.

He laughed and picked me up.

"Thanks Leo" I said after he laid me down on my bunk.

"No problem" he said kissing my forehead.

"You're seriously going to get sick if you keep kissing my germy self" I said.

"I told you it's definitely worth the risk" he said kissing my cheek.

I gave him a smile and he sat down on the edge of my bunk.

"Do you need anything?" He asked me.

I shook my head.

"Then you should probably sleep" he said brushing my hair away from my face.

I nodded and tried to fall asleep.

I sat there with my face to the way thinking.

Why was I acting so weird around Leo?

I mean yesterday I had only brotherly feelings towards him and now, My heart is jumping at the mere sound of his voice.

I can't honestly be having a mood swing like that?

I mean it was sweet how Leo took me to the Infirmary and carried me back and kissed me even when I was sick and................

I was suddenly hit with a realization.

I liked Leo.

A lot.
