"don't leave me please," i rested my head on wyatt's chest, squeezing my eyes shut so the tears didn't come out.
this past week had been awesome. i had introduced wyatt to my friends, he made sure to get every ounce of embarrassment in before he had to leave. especially the teasing between noah and i. grace and wyatt had really hit it off, so noah and i just picked on them right back.
"don't forget to keep facetiming me, okay? otherwise i'm going to miss you too much," he put his chin on the top of my head.
"i promise i will. do you have the bear?" i asked. during the week, we each picked out a stuffed animal we thought the other one would like. that way, we'd always have each other by us.
"yes, i have the bear eds," he chuckled.
"okay, good," i looked up at him with tears falling down my cheeks.
"hey, don't cry! we'll be together again before you know it," he put his hands on my shoulders.
"flight 773 boarding now, 773 boarding now!" we heard over the announcements.
"i love you so much, see you soon eds," he starting backing away.
"i love you too," i croaked, turning around and walking towards my dad.
"you okay?" he asked, putting his arm around my shoulders.
"i think i'll survive," i breathed out.
