Chapter 14

After being questioned for what felt like hours the officers left me alone with my mum and Miranda while I kept playing with my bed sheet. My mum just sat there staring at me which for some reason was making me uncomfortable.

I think Miranda noticed because she broke the ice. "So this really happened on our road."
"Yh."
"I am never walking around late again! What is Jason from Friday 13th doing on our road?"
"It was a mask and I don't know you tell me." I said
"I don't know either."
"Neither of you will be going out late again." My mum stated. I let out a sign and stared at the ceiling.
The spider was gone. That's good but where did it go?
"Oh my gosh. Something just touched my face!" Miranda squeaked.
I tried my best to move as far away from her as possible but I couldn't without feeling like I was being stabbed all over again. Great. 

I need to get better and leave this spider invested place.

After a while my mum and Miranda left me alone in the hospital and I got so bored. I can't believe I thought school was boring I would give anything to be there. I decided to play a game of truth and dare with myself. I know it sounds weird but this was the only interesting thing I could think of to do. So I started with dare.

OK Callar I dare you to wiggle your left toe. I wiggled it while rolling my eyes at myself. Was I seriously going to play this game with myself?
Of course! There is nothing to do!

OK Callar tell the truth! Why were you trying to investigate what happened with Luke William?
Well I want to investigate because I have always wanted to work with the police but me being the shy and awkward girl I am I realised that this case can get me doing what I really want.
OK Callar! I dare you to touch your stomach. I almost laughed out loud. This game was getting too real and the voices in my head were becoming real too.
OK I said. My left hand was attached to a drip but my right hand was free so I let it feel my stomach. And my stomach felt so hard. It was bandaged well.
OK Callar! Tell me the truth who do you think did this to you. It has to be out of Emily, Lily, Ryan or Jason. It has to be one of them.
I was so shocked with the voice in my head. I personally don't think any of these people did this. Yh I know Lily has been acting weird but I honestly don't believe she has a role in this. I know for sure it's not Emily she is easily grossed out and would probably pass out at the sight of me covered in blood.

I don't think Jason is capable as he has been acting too quiet and fearful. He has his own issues and problems which are reflecting on the way he is behaving.
There leaves Ryan. It certainly couldn't have been him. He would have to have had powers to fly quickly to my road and have the mask on ready and waiting.

So no I don't believe it's any of us. I decided to stop the game but the voice in my head was too strong. You need to do your dare Callar. Get up! Now!
You have to stand for a minute.

I kept shaking my head then I screamed.

Fine I will do it! I got out of the bed and stood on my two feet.
"There happy!" I suddenly felt wobbly on my feet and I ended up falling flat on my face. Then I heard a male voice laughing. When I turned to look up it was Jason.
From Friday 13th. I screamed and he wrapped his hand over my mouth. While leaning closer. He whispered in my ear. "I will never get caught and  you will never escape as long as I breath on earth. As long as I am breathing Callar!"

I suddenly sat up. Oh thank goodness it was a dream. I looked around and realised I was in the hospital but it was dark. I guess it was night time.

Then that's when I realised I was sitting up in my bed.

I felt the pain and fell on my back with a groan.

I need to get out. Now!
