When I got back to Los Angeles, Ev and I just had a small movie nights together. Then I had to fly to New York for five days for work, then when I was back in LA, Ev had to be in Dallas for a week, so I didn't tell him.

I hated the fact that I knew for a little over three weeks that I was pregnant with Everett's child.

I felt terrible not only for not telling him, but physically. I was at my toilet for hours in the morning throwing  up, I always felt hungry, and I didn't feel like Grier.

But Everett invited me out to dinner at my favorite place in Beverly Hills.

Everett was in my bedroom putting on his formal clothes for dinner while I stood in the bathroom doing my makeup.

"Your mom just texted you wondering what dress you're wearing." Ev spoke

"Oh, I have a picture of it in my camera roll, can you send it to her? It's the blue one, I left my makeup in the kitchen, I'll be back." I spoke to him

I walked out of the bathroom to retrieve my setting spray.

Tonight was going to be great.

Dinner with my man, at my favorite place.

I walked back into my room to see Everett holding my phone.

His face was blank as he looked at me.

"Grier." He spoke in a low tone

Oh, no.

"Is the pregnancy test on your phone your's?" He questioned me

I wanted to say something, but nothing was coming out.

Everett dropped my phone on the bed and he ran one hand through his hair.

"Grier, are you pregnant?" He finally asked

I nodded, "I didn't want you to find out his way."

I could hear my voice breaking as I spoke.

Ever since I was little, I wanted to smiling and laughing when I told my husband I was pregnant. Not my boyfriend, God, especially not at twenty one.

"How long have you known?" He wondered

I crossed my arms, "Three weeks."

"Oh my gosh." Everett sighed as he turned away from me

Then he faced me again, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Everett! We're twenty one. We're not married, not engaged, we just got back together. This wasn't in our ten year plan." I expressed

I opened my night stand drawer and took out the paper as I scanned the timeline we made when we were nineteen.

"We were supposed to focus on our careers from ages nineteen to twenty five, well we both know what happened in-between then. We were supposed to get engaged at twenty seven, get married that spring, and we weren't supposed to begin trying until we were twenty nine!" I reminded him

"Fuck, that stupid plan Grier. We were so young when we made that and it obviously didn't go to plan, because I didn't hear breaking up anywhere in there." Ev responded

"I just don't get why you wouldn't tell me. We're supposed to tell each other everything." Ev continued

I looked at him, "We're twenty one. Only twenty one. I haven't finished college -"

"You're graduating in December and I'm graduating in May." Ev reminded me

"Yeah, I want to waddle across a stage, love that for me." I retorted
