I sat in my room with a suitcase in front of me.

I was packing for our last minute trip to a music festival with Drew and I's 'new clique'.

There were moments when I wondered what the hell was I doing? I hated seeing him on Holland's snapchat when he was over at my house, with my family.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss him like crazy, but I had to come to terms with the fact that I wasn't what he wanted anymore.

But my fucking gosh he was all I wanted even if I had a hard time admitting it to myself.

"Hey, Drew let me in." Nolan started

We were going out to the Grove to shop then to eat.

Things between us were starting to heat up, but I could feel the differences between him and Everett.

With Everett, I felt a purpose with Nolan, I felt like this was just something to make the time go by faster.

But at the same time, I did like him.

I looked up, "Oh, hey. I just need to get my shoes."

"Getting readyfor tomorrow?" Nolan asked as I got up

"You know it." I nodded as I slipped on my white Nikes

"Okay, are you driving?" I questioned him

Nolan nodded, "Yeah, let's go."

I told Drew goodbye before I headed out with Nolan.

"What are we shopping for?" I asked Nolan as he drove

"I just need a few shirts and stuff for tomorrow and well I just want new shirts." He answered

"Understandable." I replied

"You know, I can't believe you're wearing sweats in LA in October." I continued

Nolan let out a laugh, "Exactly keyword is October."

"It's still pretty warm out." I justified

"Alright you're right, we can pretend that's it's cold then." Nolan comprised

I grinned, "Okay, that works."

Then he just looked at me for a few seconds while we were at a red light.

"What? Do I have something in my teeth?" I wondered

"Nah, it's just that my feelings for you are getting stronger and I don't know what to do." He confessed

I bit my lip, "Mhm, I see, but you see, I'm a mess."

"Be my mess then." Nolan replied

I'm already someone else's mess.

Or I was.

"It's okay, I'll be nice." I finally got out

"You're hot when you're nice." He smirked

Hot, hot, hot.

We walked in the grove, hand in hand, even though it felt wrong.

But who was I to say anything when I was the one who was also flirting back.

We had a nice lunch, bought me ice cream, and was patient when I went in stores that I wanted to go in.

But he didn't know how to give opinions like - him.

The next morning, we left early to go to the music festival that was in San Francisco.

All of us pitched into to rent out a house that we were only going to be in for the night.
