Chapter 26

Andy's P. O. V.

I quietly went up the stairs of the Tokyo Hotel. I was just going to Jack, he lived on the floor above us. We were going out to get some food together to catch up.

But walking around here alone always made the hairs on my neck rise. It felt like I needed to watch out for someone.

Wich I found quite normal, the Tokyo Hotel wasn't the safest place in the world, quite the opposite actually. But the feeling was worse than the other days, wich caused me to take longer steps at a faster pace.

But I was stopped at my tracks by a buff guy who I guessed was around his forties. His eyes went up and down my body.

"You have some nice clothes kid, a little too nice for someone from around here" he said with an evil grin on his face.

"I am from around here, now if you'll excuse me, I need to go to my friend" I said quickly and tried to slip past the guy, but took a step to the side, blocking my way again.

"Not so fast, I'm sure you have a few things to give me. Empty your pockets" he snapped. I took a step back and calculated wether I could make it back to my room before he could outrun me.

"Empty your pockets" he repeated louder this time. In one swift movement he took a handgun out of his jacket and put in against my forehead.

I started to panic. He was going to shoot me! My breathing sped up. 'Breathe Andy, breathe, don't freak out!' I begged myself.

"Last chance, empty. Your. Pockets." the man growled, pressing the gun harder against my skin.

With trembling hands I started emptying my pockets and putting it on the ground in front of me. Still with the gun pointed at me, he inspected my stuff.

He picked up my phone. "A Huawei? Who even uses those?" he laughed and put it in his jacket.

"What's this thing?" he asked picking up my inhaler. "Do you use an inhaler? You rich little snobs can't even breathe without assistance" he scoffed, throwing it carelessly over his shoulder.

My hands twitched as it hit the ground. I really needed to get that thing back! I was already starting to panic, if I had an attack now I had a big problem!

The next thing he took was my wallet. "Let's see who you are shall we. Andrew Robert Fowler. So you're related to William Fowler" he chuckled.

This man knew my father? "You-you know him?" I stuttered.

"Well the guy used to live in the city back when I was younger. And then he left to London for business and shit" the man spat.

Suddenly a voice from behind me spoke up. "Leave him alone Jared"

The man who was apparently called Jared gave the person behind me an annoyed look. "Mind your own business will you" he spat.

The person behind me took a few steps in Jareds direction. Now he was in front of me I saw who it was. It was Mikey. "Give him his personal belongings back" Mikey said sternly.

Jared scoffed. "Or what?"

"Or I will turn you in for possession of stolen items" Mikey stated like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Jared took the gun off my head and glared at Mikey. "If you do that I'll tell them who sold them to me. If I go down you will go down with me pal" he growled.

"And how will you do that? I have all necessary information about you to turn you in, you on the contrary, don't even know my last name" Mikey replied with a smirk.

Jared scoffed and threw my phone and wallet back in my direction. "You're a piece of shit Michael" he spat before turning around and walking away.

"Look who's talking" Mikey scoffed. I picked up my inhaler off the ground and turned to Mikey.

"You know this person?" I asked him.

"I know a lot of people around here" Mikey shrugged.

"He said you sold him stolen items. What did he mean by that?" I frowned.

"He means I did" Mikey sighed.

"Have you stolen things before then?" I asked. I was fairly confused by all the new information I was learning about Ryes best friend.

"I've done a lot of things that I'm not proud of" Mikey sighed.

"Why" I blurted out.

"Well... We're Tokyo Hotel scum. If you live here you get a reputation. You're either pathetic, unreliable or dangerous. Might as well be the one that benefits you the most" Mikey shrugged.

"Thanks for helping me though" I said.

"No problem. We're friends aren't we" he smiled giving me a pat on the shoulder.

"I guess we are" I replied.

"One more thing though. Could you not tell anyone about this? I don't want the rest of the world to stick their noses in my affairs" Mikey said.

"What about Rye? Does he know?" I asked.

"He doesn't and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm not exactly proud of what I've done. He doesn't need to know this" Mikey pleaded. He had a begging look in his eyes.

I nodded. "Okay, your secret is safe with me" I said.

I saw Jack come out of his room. He looked at me and then at Mikey, narrowing his eyes at him.

"Come on Andy, let's go grab lunch" He said as he approached us, treating Mikey as if he was air. Mikey rolled his eyes and left.

"Sure. Let's go" I stammered and followed Jack.

"Do you know Mikey?" I asked Jack as we wandered trough the streets.

"I used to. You can't trust him Andy. He's a lying piece of shit" Jack said firmly.

"He's always been nice to me before... Do you guys have history or something?" I asked him.

"Sadly we do. But that's not important right now" Jack sighed. "Come on let's eat at Willy's"

"You mind reader! I was just about to say the same" I laughed as we headed for the restaurant.

Yeah this was a filler chapter. I also realised this is litterally the first Mindy dialogue in this story.. I litterally almost forgot to include a dialogue for the purest Brotp of all time! But there's one now, so it's all good! 😁😅
