Chapter 37- Daddy

Sabrina's POV

Today my parents are coming to visit us to see the house. I'm really excited, I really miss them, I haven't seen them in a very long time and I can't wait to hug them again. Shawn and I are currently preparing dinner.
"Is the water ready?" He asks me
"Yeah" I grab some pasta and pour it into the pot
"How's the meat?" I look at it in the cooking pan
"Almost ready" He replies while adding some salt. It smells like something's burnt
"Oh my god the cookies!" I say as I open the oven. There's smoke everywhere and I cough.
"Sab" Shawn pulls me away from the oven
"Everything is ruined" He chuckles
"Come on, we still have the cake in the fridge" I sigh
"I guess you're right" I take a cookie with a glove and look at it
"It looks like Sarah made them" I slightly laugh while slamming it against the counter
"It's as hard as rock" After I speak the cookie breaks into a million pieces and we both laugh
"I'll clean it, watch the meat" Shawn says while grabbing the broom and dustpan
"Yes sir!" I say jokingly.
While he cleans I notice that both the pasta and meat are ready so I turn off the stove. Shawn walks up to me and looks at the food.
"We did a great job" He kisses my cheek and I giggle
"Well, except for the cookies" He chuckles
"True" I turn around to face him
"Hey, haven't you read what the apron says?" I look at it
"Kiss the cook" I roll my eyes and give him a quick peck on the lips
"Happy?"
"Yup" He's so sweet and funny. I really love him, thank god that I'm not living alone anymore, I felt kinda lonely. Since I can still smell the scent of the burned cookies I open the windows
"Do you really think that the smell of the city is gonna save the situation?"
"Well, we're on the 42nd floor so yeah, some fresh air can come in" I kiss his cheek
"Now we better start cleaning the living area, it's pretty dirty" I look at it. It really is a huge mess.
"Starting from here..." I walk up to the couch and take a used condom and glare at him
"Sorry, I forgot to throw it away" I roll my eyes
"Disgusting" I throw it in the trash can.

We finally finished cleaning and I notice that I'm still wearing Shawn's shirt and that he's still shirtless
"We better change now, we look like we just-"
"I know" He chuckles, takes my hands on his and guides me to the changing room.
"What suit do you want me to wear?" I frown
"It's a family dinner at our apartment, I simple shirt with jeans will be okay"
"You sure?" He puts on a light blue shirt and I start buttoning it for him
"Totally, don't worry" I kiss his chest since I don't wanna basically jump to kiss his cheek
"Now change those pants into one of your classic black jeans"
"Yes ma'am" While he's changing I put on a simple shirt with a pair of high-waisted jeans.
"How do I look?" He asks me
"Ridiculous" I laugh
"Take off that tie!" He scoffs
"No need to make fun of me" He fixes his hair and I do the same
"How's my hair?" He smells my head
"Smells good, mine?" I sniff his
"Yeah, smells good too, you can wash it tomorrow, wait" I touch it
"Is soft as always"
"Great" We hear a knock
"They're finally here!" I run and open the door
"Mom! Dad!" I hug them tightly
"Sabrina!" they both say in unison and hug back
"I've missed you guys so much!" I tighten the grip
"We've missed you too but...air" My mom whispers
"Ops" I pull away and chuckle
"Elizabeth" Shawn hugs her
"Hi Shawn, how are you?" They pull away
"I'm good thank you, you look awesome by the way"
"Aw, thank you" She blushes and giggles... I really don't know how to feel about this... weird...
"David" Shawn opens his arms to hug him but my dad pulls out to shake his hand and now we have another awkward moment, this dinner is gonna be something to not forget.
"Um...hi" Shawn shakes his hand
"Hi Shawn" Why is my dad so different?
"How are you sir?"
"I'm good Shawn"
"Come in guys" I smile and they come in
"What a lovely place" My mom smiles
"I know right? Sabrina was in love with this apartment"
"You also have a great furniture" My dad says, touching the couch
"Shawn himself assembled everything"
"Yeah I'm not a big fan of the curtains though" My mom looks at them and Shawn sighs
"Yeah, me neither but those were the only ones left"

We're now eating and I notice that the meat needs a little bit of salt
"Daddy can you pass me salt, please?"
"Sure" Shawn and my dad say in unison while reaching for it. Oh no...

Shawn's POV
Me and David look at each other in the eyes. I'm mostly scared while he's definitely angry.
"She said DADDY" I sit back on the chair and force a smile
"Sorry I must've heard Shawn" I chuckle nervously. He hands her the salt. He might be her dad but I'm definitely Sabrina's daddy.
"T-Thank you dad"
"No problem sweetie" He smiles and we keep eating. There's definitely an awkward silence. I can feel the tension between David and I while Elizabeth looks at Sabrina with a smirk, my girlfriend doesn't even dare to look up from her plate.
"Sabrina?" Her mom asks
"Yeah?" She whispers something in her ear and Sabrina pulls away all red of embarrassment
"Mom!"
"What happened?" David and I ask
"Nothing!" They say quickly, this couldn't be more awkward...

Sabrina's POV
My mom just asked me who is on top during sex! I'm freaking out so much right now I don't know if I can stay calm and collected anymore-
"It was nice seeing you guys" my parents stand up. What? We already finished? Wow. That was quick, I didn't even notice that I was eating cake.
"Can't wait to see you again" Shawn shakes my dad's hand and hugs my mom
"Wait! Why won't you stay here tonight? We have guest room" Why did I say this?! Shawn turns around and looks at me in shock.
"Really?" My mom smiles
"Sure, why not?" We hug
"Thank you Sabby" my dad says
"You're welcome, the room is right next to the bathroom over there" They nod and walk away
"Why did you do that?! Didn't you notice that your father hates me?!" He whisper-yells at me
"Sorry I wasn't thinking! But it's not that big of a deal, they'll stay here for two days"
"Two days in which I'm gonna go through hell" He groans
"Hey, it's your fault"
"I'm sorry but you always call me daddy!"
"I don't! I only call you that when...you know!"
"And we do that all the time, so yeah!  You always call me daddy!" I roll my eyes
"Whatever"
