Chapter 50- Surprise!

Shawn's POV

Since last month discussion I came up with an amazing surprise: I told Sabrina to go have fun with Sofia Carson for the whole day. Little does she know that in the meanwhile I'm gonna furnish and decorate the baby's room.
I have to thank the fact that the VMAS are coming up in a few days and that Sofia is staying with us during this period of time, she's a great friend, when I told her the plan she immediately agreed without even thinking about it twice. Sofia literally saved my ass, plus, Sabrina really needs to hang out and have some fun
"Where are you ladies going?" I ask to the couple of besties who had just finished having a pillow fight
"We are going for a walk in Central Park and maybe we'll go to a cafe later" Sofia replies
"Remember that Sabrina can't-"
"Yes Shawn, I won't drink any coffee even though I could" Sabrina interrupts me
"You could, but it's not recommended" I correct her
"Yeah fine, let's go Sof!" My fiancé says with enthusiasm while walking out of the room
"Sure, let me just take my phone"
"Sofia?"
"Yeah?" She replies to me while grabbing it
"Thank you: for everything" I hug her
"No problem Shawn, but the room better be the cutest thing ever" I chuckle
"Trust me, it'll be amazing"
"Sofia!" We hear Sabrina scream
"Coming! Bye"
"Bye" I wave at them as they walk out of the apartment.
Great, now I can finally start but... I don't know from where, should I assemble the cribs first or their closet? Or maybe I should start by the lights-wait! No! The walls first! Oh man, this is gonna be a very long day...

Sabrina's POV

I saw something weird before: Shawn and Sofia were hugging each other before we left, which is very strange since he didn't even give me a goodbye kiss! Is there something going on between them? Probably...okay no Sabrina! He's your fiancé and she's your friend! There's no way that they might be seeing each other behind your back!
"It's so beautiful here in Central Park, isn't it?"
"Huh?" I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't pay attention to what she was saying
"I asked if it's beautiful in here" I look around to see all the trees and squirrels running around
"Yeah, it is, it's really cool to go for a walk from time to time" I take a deep breath
"But we better go home now" Her eyes widen
"What? No!" She sounds so nervous, why though?
"Why not?"
"Well, ehm... because we've been out for only two hours and we haven't spent a day together in a very long time!"
"We can easily do it at home" I just wanna go home, I'm really tired right now...
"But you're always making out with Shawn! I'm a constant third wheel! And it's not a very good feeling trust me"
"I'm not always making out with him!" Sofia chuckles
"Yes you are! Every time your lips touch you forget that I'm in the room and basically have sex right in front of me!" I blush
"I get that you're pregnant and your hormones are crazy but could you at least wait until I'm out of the room before ripping off his shirt?"
"Wha-I've never ripped off his shirt!" At least not in front of her...
"You did it three times in the last two days while I was sitting next you guys and eating some cereal!" I sigh
"Okay I get it, what do you wanna do?"
"Can we go to the zoo?" I Instantly smile
"Hell yeah!"

Sofia's POV

We're now seeing the lions cage
"They are beautiful" Sabrina says with dreamy eyes, I guess that having two babies makes her see the world as a child as well
"They really are" I say with amusement. I look down at Sabrina and notice that she looks tired
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah...sure" She doesn't look fine at all
"Maybe you should sit down, what do you think?"
"You're right" We find a bench where she sits down while I buy a smoothie and give it to her
"It's not a sardine smoothie so I don't know if you'll like it" I say to her, referring to the last time that she was on James Corden.
"Haha very funny" She replies while taking a sip of it
"How are you feeling?" I rest my head on her forehead to see if she has fever
"I'm good Sof, don't worry"
"Of course I should worry you're-" I'm interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing
"Sorry" I turn around and walk away after I notice that Shawn is the one calling me
"Can I come home now?"
"Of course you can't! I'm on the final touches"
"But I can't keep lying to her like this! You know I hate it!"
"I know Sofia, just resist a little longer, please?"
"I just wish we could've talked about this with more organization but you were too busy kissing Sabrina all the time!" He chuckles
"Are you jealous?"
"Of course I'm jealous! You basically stole my friend and now you keep showing your tongue all the way down her throat!"
"Hey! Not all the way down!" We both laugh
"But seriously: I'm glad that she's dating someone as awesome as you"
"And I'm glad she has a friend as awesome as you"
"How much time do you still need?"
"Ten minutes more and everything will be done"
"Okay, I think I can do that" I hung up and turn around to find Sabrina but I can't see her anywhere. The only thing I can see is a petite figure running away, towards the exit, that must be Sabrina! Why is she running away though?! I decide to chase her but she's already too far. Damn for being short and pregnant she's really fast!
"Sabrina!" I scream, hoping for her to turn around but she doesn't.
I keep running behind her, trying to catch up while calling Shawn again but the voice call kicks in and I decide to leave him a message
"Shawn! Sabrina is coming home!" I put my phone away and keep running.

Sabrina's POV

Sofia has been on her phone for more than ten minutes and I saw that Shawn was the one who called her. I stand up and walk towards her to find out what's really going on between them. I stand her behind her and hear what she's saying to him.
"But I can't keep lying to her like this! You know I hate it!"
"I just wish we could've talked about this with more organization but you were too busy kissing Sabrina all the time!"
"Of course I'm jealous!" I can't take it anymore and I start running back home.
So Shawn is really cheating on me? And with my friend?! I didn't expect this from them, at all
"Sabrina!" I hear Sofia's voice but I ignore her and keep running
Why? I thought they cared about me.
I finally reach our building and open the door of the apartment.
"So you're cheating on me?!"

Shawn's POV

I just finished everything and I'm very proud of what I did: from the cribs to the walls, everything is perfect.
I suddenly hear the entrance door slamming to the wall
"So you're cheating on me?!" It's Sabrina's voice. What does she mean? I walk out of the room to the living and find an angry Sabrina with tears in her eyes
"Sorry Shawn, she's too fast"
"Okay, What is happening here?" I ask, clearly concerned
"Why are you crying?" I get closer to her but she takes several steps back
"You're cheating on me with Sofia!" Sofia and I look at each other in the eyes, confused
"What?" I ask
"I've heard you on the phone!" What?!
"It was supposed to be a surprise Sofia!"
"Hey! I didn't do anything!"
"How the hell is cheating a surprise?!" We're all confused.
"Let's all just stop! Why do you think that Shawn and I are having an affair behind your back?"
"What do you mean why?!" Sabrina walks in and looks at her right in the eyes
"I've heard you saying to my fiancé that you hated lying to me, that you two wanted to talk about something more privately and how you were jealous!" Sofia and I instantly laugh after we hear her motivations
"Why are you two laughing?!"
"We weren't talking about our 'affair' Sabrina"
"Then what were you two-?" I cut her off
"Follow me" I grab her hand and guide her to the babies' room
"What is this?" She says with a more relaxed and confused tone
"I wanted you to go out with Sofia so I could furnish and decorate the room, we were talking about this project, this was the surprise for you"
"Really?" I nod
"Yeah"
"Good job dude" Sofia and I fist bump
"Thanks Sof" Sabrina starts crying and hugs both of us
"I'm so sorry guys! I love you!"
"We love you too Sab" Sofia kisses her head, she's clearly confused by Sabrina's mood swings
"Hormones" I mouth to her and she nods.
Mi fiancé pulls away from the hug and walks around the room
"It's beautiful Shawn, how could you do this in just a day?" I sigh, I'm still covered in paint and sweaty
"It wasn't that hard" complete lie. It was the hardest thing ever
"I love you" She gets on her tiptoes and kisses me on the lips
"I love you too" I manage to say before she deepens the kiss and rips off my shirt, making me groan, this is the fourth time in two days!
"Get a room you two!" Sabrina and I pull away all embarrassed after Sofia's statement
"Get a hotel to stay!" I mimic her tone and stick out my tongue at her.
Well, I thought that I was the jealous one but Sabrina is not too far behind me. Hormones I guess.
