Chapter 74- Tour

Sabrina's POV

Today is the day. Today I start touring. After this day I probably won't see my family for more than eight months. How am I gonna go through this? I have no idea.
"Hey" Shawn caresses my cheek. We've been laying in bed since we woke up, just cuddling
"Hey" I smile at him
"Hi"
"You start your tour today"
"I do"
"I just have a question"
"Sure"
"Why did you wanted to start from this city and not from LA? I mean, it would've been a better move since-"
"I wanted to say goodbye to you in a proper way"
"You are a bomb" I chuckle
"Thanks baby" we first bump
"How do you feel about your stadium tour being completely sold out?"
"Scared, I never thought that so many people-"
"I always knew this would happen someday"
"What are you talking about?"
"I always knew you were gonna become someone important, you know, stop being the 'ex-disney star' to become a true star" I hug him
"Thank you"
"The best thing is that you can't realize how big you really are"
"I'm 5'0" he chuckles
"This is what I was talking about, you literally have no idea of the impact you have, which is good because you keep staying humble"
"Shawn you are are big star as well"
"I know, but I was underrated for only a short period of time while you were underrated for years and years, but you kept fighting and now look at you: your stadium tour is fully sold out" I kiss his cheek
"You're so sweet"
"I'm just honest with you" He moves a strand of hair behind my ear and gives me a peck on the lips
"You better start getting ready now, no way you're gonna show up to rehearsal naked" I slightly laugh
"Okay" I stand up and start getting dressed.
"What?" I ask Shawn after I notice that he's been looking at me the whole time
"Nothing, I'm just admiring your beauty" I blush
"Why so romantic today?"
"Why not?" He stands up and walks up to me
"I mean, you're my wife..." he rests his hands on my hips
"...the mother of our children, the softest and sweetest human being" He smiles sadly at me
"The real question should be: why am I not romantic like this everyday?" I rest my hands on his chest
"You don't have to: you're already too busy raising the twins and trying to train Connor"
"So are you, but you also work and still manage to do cute shit for me almost everyday" I smile widely at him
"Okay Romeo, enough for now" we both chuckle and hug him tightly, for a long time, we both know this is gonna be our last moment between only the two of us for more then eight months. His arms are wrapped around my petite body while mines are rubbing his back, comforting him since he started sobbing a few seconds ago
"Oh baby, don't cry" I slightly pull away to look at his face, it's red and full of tears
"How can I not? We won't see each other-" he manages to say through sobs
"Hey, take a deep breath, everything is gonna be fine, I promise that every single free day that I have I will spend it with you"
"That's impossible Sabrina. You know that you can't" He cries on my shoulder and I pat his back
"I'll do my best I promise" I wanna cry but I won't, not now. Shawn has always been my anchor in the sad times, now it's my time to be strong, for him.
We stay like this for a few minutes until I pull away, holding his hands in mine and looking at him in the eyes
"Do you feel better?" I wipe away his tears as he sniffs
"Kind of"
"If you ever need something just call me, okay? Don't care if I'm in the middle of a performance or if it's late at night, just call me" he nods
"I will" I hug him.

*several hours later, at Sabrina's concert*

"You can do it Sabrina" Shawn rubs my back
"I forgot how nerve wracking this felt" I say with a sigh while looking myself at the mirror of the changing room where I'm at.
"You're gonna kill it, like always"
"Shawn I fainted during my last set"
"It happened months ago, you can do it, I know you can" I turn around
"I hope so..." He smiles and looks at the twins
"Harry, Alex" they both look up from the sheets of paper they were drawing on
"Mommy is great and she can do it, right?" They smile quirky and nod, making me melt at their cuteness
"See? You're gonna kill it" I smile and hug him
"Okay then, let's do it"
"That's my wife!" He picks up the babies and we go backstage
"Good luck" Shawn kisses my cheek
"Thank you" I smirk as I look at our children
"Tickle monster!" I scream before tickling their bellies, making them giggle
"Time to go!" I hear Grace tell me
"Okay then, here it goes..."
"Go out there and kill it" Shawn and I kiss
"Ew!" Alex says and we pull away
"Love you kids" I kiss both of their foreheads and finally walk onstage
"Hello New York!" I yell at the crowd as I run on stage. I gotta do it, I can do it!
"How are you?"Everyone screams
"So, today I'm officially starting the stadium tour, isn't that exciting?" Yes it is, exciting and nerve wrecking, but I love it.
"And I wanted to start with New York because this city is very special to me: you might know that I live here with my lovely husband and my adorable twins, Alex and Harry" I smile
"So I wanted to start off with a song that is very special to me, to this city and hopefully for you too, I wrote it a few years ago and if you guys know it, you should probably sing along to Why"
