Chapter 91- Baby On Board

Shawn's POV

Aaliyah is gonna leave today to come back home, seems like my words of wisdom really helped her to make the right choice.

"What the hell Aaliyah?! What did I tell you about boys?! They only bring problems! And did you listen to me? Of course not!" I pace around all angry while my sister is looking at the ground all bored
"Hey! Look at me!" She sighs and looks at me in the eyes
"How could you run away afterwards?! All alone? Do you know how dangerous that is?! Our parents were worried sick about you when I told them you were here!"
"Shawn, calm down, I'm sure that wasn't her intention" Sabrina rests her hands on my shoulders as she's trying to calm me down
"Damn it Aaliyah! That was so irresponsible!"
"Baby, she's a teenager. You know how teens are"
"Yeah I know how teens are but this is too much! I don't think you ran away for every minor inconvenience!"
"Shawn-"
"No Aaliyah, you listen to me now!"
"I'm going back" I sigh in relief and smile
"I'm such a good brother!" they both roll eyes
"What?"

Yup, I'm a great advice giver.
Anyways, we're getting ready to take her to the airport. Sabrina is driving so this might be the last day of my life.
"Are you guys ready?"
"No!" my sister and I reply. I'm sitting on the back seat to protect the twins who are currently sleeping.
Please lord! Don't let me die!
"Guys I got my license not too long ago, I can drive!"
"You can't" I reply as she rolls her eyes
"Funny. Let's go!" Aaliyah and I scream in fear. Why did I let her drive?! Okay Shawn, breathe! One...two...one...two
"We're here!" Wait, really?
"Are we all alive?"
"I'm not a bad driver!"
"You literally got honked because you wouldn't move with the green light!"
"I'm sorry but an old lady was still crossing the street!"
"Whatever, at least I still have my arms and legs" I chuckle at the conversation between my sister and my wife
"Anyways, guys, you can go, I'll stay here with the kids to watch over them"
"Okay, bye Sabrina"
"Bye" they hug and Aaliyah and I finally get out
"Do you have the passport?"
"Yes"
"Ticket?"
"Yup"
"You sure you have everything?"
"Yes Shawn"
"Because I think that you forgot a little something..." I say with a smirk
"No, I didn't"
"Yes, you did. You forgot a kiss from your older brother!" I say as I hug her tightly and kiss her head
"Whatever bro, see you around"
"Good luck with mom and dad"
"Yeah sure, they'll kill me as soon as I'll walk in"
"Nah, I don't think so"
"I just hope that they won't ask me all the questions that Sabrina asked me" I cringe
"I really don't wanna know what you did with that boy"
"And that's why you're my favorite brother"
"I am your only brother"
"Exactly! Bye!" She waves at me as she walks through the terminal
"Bye!" Damn I'm gonna miss her so much. I go back to the car and we all make it home safely.
Sabrina and I are now cuddling while we watch the kids playing with Connor
"Shawn?"
"Yeah?"
"I really liked the fact that you were worried sick about Aaliyah but I feel like you were too protective"
"I totally disagree. I'd like to see what would you have done if we had a daughter that runs away after almost having sex with a secret boyfriend" I can see that she's been very thoughtful for the last two weeks, I feel like she has an idea that she's too scared to share for whatever reason.
"I don't know..." She bites her lip, still looking at the children, but with a nostalgic look now
"Maybe we should try" I frown
"What did you say?" she blushes
"Nothing, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said it"
"Wait, you want another baby?" she stays silent and I smile
"Sabrina?"
"I mean, yeah. I'd like to have another baby with you" she says in a whisper
"But if you don't want to it's totally fine, I mean, they're gonna be two in two months and I understand if it's too soon for you" my smile grows bigger if that's even possible
"I would love to Sabrina" I say after kissing her forehead
"Really?" I nod
"Yeah. But I'm worried about you, your last pregnancy was everything but easy, you almost died after giving birth to them and I don't want it to happen again. Aren't you scared?" She nods
"As hell, but I don't think that's gonna happen two times in a row. It's just that they're growing up so fast and I wanna take care of a baby. I wanna change diapers and all the other stuff that I wasn't able to do with them because I was too busy working. After my year off I wanna take things more slowly to focus on my family because I really love you all and the fact that I realized this too late really gets on my nerves"
"It's never too late Sabrina. It's fine with me if you wanna have another child" I take her hands
"Plus, I like the process of it very much" she giggles. She's so adorable when she does that
"Do you wanna try now?" I raise my eyebrows
"You mean like: now now?" she nods
"Yeah"
"Absolutely" I lean in for a kiss but she pulls back
"Not here you dummy, the kids are right in front of us"
"True, let's take it to the bedroom"
"Do you think that they'll be fine?"
"We'll be gone for about half an hour, I'm sure they'll be fine" and with that, we try having a baby.

*two weeks later, Sabrina's POV*

We tried every day since then and three days ago I missed my period, which is a very good sign! I bought three pregnancy tests and they all showed two lines, meaning that I'm pregnant! However, to be extra sure I also did some blood tests and today I should get a mail with the results! I'm so happy! I might become a mom again! I can finally raise a child without losing most of its important moments!
I also have all the symptoms: I feel tired, have nausea, I puked twice this morning, sometimes I have a terrible headache and some mood swings. I obviously try to hide all of this from Shawn because I want it to be a surprise. I suddenly feel my phone vibrating and see that it's the mail from the hospital! Please, please, please say that-
"Who are you talking to?"
"What?"
"Your phone ringed"
"Oh, just work" I chuckle nervously and he smiles like a dork
"Ugh I can't wait to raise another child with you"
"Me neither" I read the e-mail carefully, analyzing every word... Positive! It's positive! I can't believe it! I'm so happy!
"Shawn! Honey!"
"Yes?"
"Can you buy some broccolis? I wanted to prepare them for tomorrow but we're out of them"
"But it's 8pm I don't think that-"
"Thank you!" I say while throwing at him his coat and opening the door
"Okay, geez!" He chuckles and walks out. Perfect! Time to prepare everything!

Shawn's POV

Why was Sabrina so excited suddenly? I've never seen her so happy for some broccolis...oh well. I find a grocery store and buy them. I gotta admit it, I don't love them but at least they're healthy. I head back home and open the front door
"Hey I'm-"
"Surprise!" I hear Sabrina scream. There's a huge banner hung to the wall that say 'Baby on board' and the babies' old cribs our with all of their clothes on top of them
"We're having another baby!"
"Really?!" I leave the vegetable fall from my hand to hug her tightly
"Yeah" Sabrina pulls away a pregnancy test that shows two lines
"Oh my gosh!" I grab her by the waist and spin her around
"Shawn!" she laughs and I put her back down
"I even took the blood test to be extra sure and it says that I'm pregnant" She hugs me
"We're having another baby!" she rubs my back
"Yes we are"
I'm gonna be a dad again!
