Elliot and Olivia were about to go out and have some fun, just the two of them as best friends but Elliot change the plans in the last minute and he is bringing Kathy with him. So Olivia does the same thing and tells him she got a date.

Elliot- no you are not you are my best friend, i know you guys don´t like each other very much and i don´t know why, but she actully want´s to be your friend.
Olivia- i can´t
Elliot- why not?
