Chapter 26 - Dean and Rosalie's conversation.

Someone started knocking at the door.

"Who is it?" Gracy shouted as she ran into the living room.

"It's Esme's dad," he said.

Gracy opened the door and let him in.

"Hi," he said.

"How was work?" asked Rosalie as she walked in the room.

"Not well," said dad.

"Where's Dean?" dad asked.

"He's upstairs writing," said Esme.

Rosalie and dad walked into the kitchen to talk about their day.

"I'll be back," I said as I walked into the kitchen. I was so thirsty. I went into the kitchen to get some ice cold lemonade.

As I went into the kitchen, I overheard my dad saying.............

"My client sued me."

"Really, how much?" I interrupted.

"It's none of your business," said dad.

"Go in the living room!" shouted dad.

"I was getting lemonade."

"Go!" shouted dad.

"Fine!" I shouted.

"What was all that yelling about?" Jim asked.

"I overheard something, asked a question, was going to get lemonade, and he screamed at me," said Esme.

"I miss having lemonade," said Jim.

"You don't even care that I got yelled at!"shouted Esme.

"Oh, sorry," said Jim.
