They shut the door and waited for Gracy.

"Knock, Knock!"

Esme opened the door and there was Gracy with her friend and her friend's mom.

"Bye, Gracy," said Gracy's friend Miranda.

"Bye, see ya tomorrow at preschool," said Gracy.

After we shut the door and they started to drive home, Gracy began to cry.

"What's wrong?" asked Esme.

"Daddy!" shouted Gracy.

"What's wrong, cupcake?" asked Dean.

"Cute cupcake costume," said Ellen.

"It's not a costume, I'm really a cupcake," said Gracy angrily.

"Oh, sorry," said Ellen.

"Daddy, I'm going with you next time. I missed you too much," said Gracy sweetly as she hugged Dean.

"Okay," said Dean.

"What kind of candy did you get?" Rosalie asked Gracy.

"Let me show you," said Gracy as she emptied her bag of candy onto the table.

"Check my candy, so I can eat it," said Gracy.

"Okay," said Rosalie.

"Tootsie Roll's are good, Butterfingers are good," said Rosalie as she gave Gracy back her candy.

"Esme, do you like Butterfingers?" asked Gracy.

"Yes," said Esme.

"Want it?"

"No, thanks. It's rude to ask me and not the vam.... others," said Esme.

I was lucky! I almost called them vampires in front of Gracy and my parents. Imagine if I told their secret. I wonder what would happen.

"You people...," said Gracy.

"They have names," said Esme.

"I don't remember their names," said Gracy.

The vampires introduced themselves and Gracy asked them if they wanted candy.

"No thanks," they said.

"Why?" asked Gracy.

"We're not much of candy lovers," said Jim.

They couldn't eat it anyway. That would be sad for me not having candy.

"What? How could you not like candy?" asked Gracy.

"Some people don't like candy," said Ronny.

"What about pizza and ice cream?"asked Gracy.

"Not everybody likes all foods," said Esme.

"Oh, like I don't like onions," said Gracy.

"Yes," said Esme.

"Gracy, try offering them something else to eat, please," said Rosalie.

"Want a worm. We've got plenty in the back yard," said Gracy. "Jim, why is your shoulder so huge. You look like a gorilla."

"It's my muscles," said Jim.

"No, you're wimpy because you're afraid to eat candy," said Gracy.

"No, I'm going to eat it. I'm the total opposite of a wimp," said Jim.

"Gracy, get to your room!" yelled Dean and Rosalie.

"Wait for him to eat it first. He wants me to watch him eat it," said Gracy.

"Do you?" asked Rosalie.

"Sure," said Jim.

He took out a Hershey bar and began opening it.

"No!" shouted the vampires.

"What will happen?" I whispered to Bailey.

"I don't know. I need a vision. We never ate human food. I don't know what happens,"Bailey whispered back to me.

"Why'd you guys shout no?" asked Rosalie.

"Conner told me something and the rest of us, and we were saying no to what he said," Ronny lied.

"Oh, okay," said Rosalie.

Jim began eating the chocolate bar.

"What will happen? Oh, no!" I thought.

He threw up. I thought it would've been something worse. We were so surprised.

"Ha, Ha! You threw up from candy. You wimp," said Gracy laughing.

"You can't come any more. I don't like you throwing up in my kitchen," said Gracy.

"Gracy, go to your room," said Rosalie as she brought Jim upstairs.

"I can't believe Jim listened to a four year old,"said Ronny.

"I know," said Ellen laughing.

"It was Gracy's fault, but she didn't know any better," said Conner.

"True," said Bailey.
