Hayden's POV

"What do you want to know?" I ask not liking when people get the upper hand on me. "Who are you?" I smile a dark smile. "My name is Hayden." Ennis looks at me with a million questions running through his head. "If you aren't Heidi, then where is she?" I cross my arms over my chest with a very annoying look on my face. "Why does everyone care so much about Heidi? She is a villain, a bad guy." Ennis loosens his grip on the necklace. "Heidi has changed, she a good person, a great friend, and loves to help out those in need." I pretend to gag, when I really wanted to gag at this point. "Now I see why she woke me up, she will always be an Isle girl, and if you must know Heidi is closer than you think." Ennis looks me up and down almost like he checking me out. "Is Heidi under some kind of spell?" I start laughing loudly. "This isn't some spell that can be broken with some kiss, what happened to Heidi and I happened a long time ago." Ennis doesn't move a muscle. "What are you talking about? Explain yourself." I start coming up with a plan in my head. "Hades treated Heidi like nothing, he did unspeakable things to her and Hadie, and through everything Hades put Heidi through she created to me to deal with it." I tug at my shirt not wanting to relive all the horrible things in the past. "I was the one to deal with being locked up in the dungeon for weeks, I am the one that was forced to watch Hades burn Hadie, and it was me that felt every last punishment Hades could think of to do to when he bored, when he was angry, and even when Heidi would do something good by mistake." Ennis looks at me with sadness in his eyes. "You protected her, and she doesn't even know it." I shake my head running my fingers through my hair. "I am the one Heidi turns to when things get too nasty for her, I take the brutality so she doesn't have to, and that is why I am filled with so much anger and hatred." Ennis takes a step closer to me but still manages to keep the diamond over the water. "What changed, you said that you were woken up." I run my nails along the rocky surface of the cave. "I guess Heidi got better at dealing with things and I wasn't needed." Ennis eyes turn towards the diamond in his hand. "Something must have triggered her, otherwise you wouldn't be here right now." I roll my eyes, "All I know is that I finally have a chance to do something that is in my personal best interest." Ennis eyes fill with different emotions. "What do you want with this diamond?" I shrug my shoulders pretending to act like innocent. "It is part of my plan." Ennis again loosens his grip a little. "I want to hear the whole plan, otherwise this necklace goes back under the sea." I suddenly pretend to have a headache and close my eyes. "Heidi?" Ennis asks with concern in voice. I opens my eyes and look around acting like I have no idea where I am. "What is going on? Why am I here?" I sit down on the steps place my face in my hands hiding the smile on my face. Ennis rushes over to me kneeling front of me. "It's okay Heidi, everything is okay now." I raise my head staring into the eyes of Ennis before upper cutting him making him stumble backwards, I kick the necklace out of his hand and it lands on the far side of the cove. "One thing I have mastered over the years is how to portray Heidi." Ennis scowls me as he now understands that I was just acting. "Was anything you told me true." I nod my head. "Everything I have told you is true, but in the end I always get what I want." I hurry towards the diamond and so does Ennis, and we both each it at the same time. "You won't hit a girl would you?" I stretch out my hand sending Ennis into the wall of the cave. "Another interesting tip, I have skills that Heidi doesn't even know she has." Ennis groans as he tries to make it back to his feet. "No need to stand up, you have played your part." I wave my hand pushes Ennis back down to the ground. I walk over and pick up the diamond. "Welcome home beautiful." I say admiring the stunning necklace in my hand. "You won't get away with this, I am going to tell everyone what you told me." Ennis mumbles out just barley standing on his feet. "I guess that makes you a loose end, and if there is one thing I hate it is a loose end." I turn my attention to Ennis before walking up to him backing him up into the wall of the cave. "Can she hear me? Heidi I mean." I nod my head, "She isn't here right now but if you like you can leave a message and I will try to make sure that she gets it." Ennis smiles a weak smile at me. "I feel sorry for you." I grip his neck forcing him to look at me. "Why is that?" Ennis lightly chuckles. "Because you aren't a real person, and that means you will never win over Heidi." This comment gets laughter out of me. "You don't think I know that fish boy, this time is going to be different, and after everything is said and done Heidi and I will no longer need one another because we won't be together anymore." Before Ennis can say anything I wave my hand at him and a cloud of blue smoke engulfs him, and once the blue smoke clears in the spot where Ennis is now is a blue fish flopping around with multi-colored scales. "I always knew you were kind of fishy." I joke erupting with laughter, but my laughter is cut short when I notice someone standing at the entrance of the cove. "How long have been eavesdropping Shay." I turn my full attention to the girl above me. "Long enough to know that I am not leaving this cove without my sister."
