Chapter Fifty Two: Planning

As I walked around the Northside alongside Cade I felt at home.

I looked up at him and he looked at me and smiled, "What's on your mind?"

"Just thinking about tonight."

"You second guessing it?" He asked.

I shook my head, "No...I want this Cade...But do you think we're moving too fast, I'd hate for people to talk."

"Honestly I'm probably the worst person to ask that question My Flower...and fuck what anyone says, the only person's opinion that matters to me is yours, everyone else can talk all they want...but...I do want to make sure you are ready for all of this."

I nodded, "Of course I am."

"Well I know we sort of planned to hold off on the wedding and I told you, you'd get to choose when you'd become the Luna...but taking my mark will speed everything up."

"Why?" I asked unsure.

He shrugged, "I don't know the specifics down to the T, but essentially it's the primal urge that awakens inside your wolf to become my wolf's equal, and the equivalent of the Alpha wolf is his Luna wolf...that's why that part is sped up, and of course I have to present you before you offically become my Luna, otherwise our pack members coudl rebel and reject you...by presenting you first it sort of familiarizes them with you instead of just springing it on them."

"So Blood Bond tonight." I offered.

"Only if you're willing to go through with the Presentation next week and then a week or two later you'll offically become the Luna." He said.

I shook my head, "Blood Bond tonight, Presentation Next weekend..." I said, he smirked and nodded so I continued, "And Luna two weeks afer the presenting."

"As long as we get to have a party acknowledging you are offically our Luna." He offered a little humored now.

I smiled and shrugged, "What kind of Luna would I be to deny our people a reason to party?"

He chuckled, "Now you're getting it.

We ended up going to dinner that night with Blithe...We had tabled the wedding talk since we still had plenty of time to make any final decisions on that....plus i'd like my mom and sister's input as well.

Instead We talked about the presenting.

"It's kinda short notice but I can pull together something spectacular." Blithe tried to assure me.

"And this presenting won't be just for My Daisy, but also our packs new Beta as well...I want the pack to know our new chain of command and accept the both of you for your new roles...and I know they will love and respect you both."

"Well they sure as shit didn't love Ieston." Blithe put in. "Respected him, maybe...but it's his own fault."

"He wasn't a terrible Beta." Cade said. "I wouldn't have allowed him to hold the position if he was a bad Beta...and I know there will be some who feel I released him from his Beta role out of selfish reasons...and perhaps I did, but Daisy is my future Luna, more so she's going to be the pack Luna and I'll get rid of anyone who threatens to remove our Pack's Luna."

Blithe smiled slyly and I blushed but she spoke up, "protective much, Alpha?"

"As my family you should already know how protective I'll get for someone I love...but again Ieston for all the shit he pulled was never a bad Beta by any means."
