"You sure you don't wanna stop and get food?" Stokeley asked me as we drove passed some food places.
"I'm sure" I told him again.
"But you didn't eat yet and it's three in the after noon" again he asked me. I looked over at him and he looked over at me as we reached a red light.
"Stoke I'm fine" I repeated. He nodded.
"Okay okay" He said before driving again. I decided to come home about 30 minutes ago and Stokeley said he would come get me.
"Is he home?" I asked him. I didn't have to say a name, he knows who I'm talking about.
"Yeah" I looked out the window and sighed. We'll be home in less than five minutes. I'm nervous. I don't know what's going to happen. No clue what to expect. "He hasn't slept yet" I heard Stokeley say. I looked over at him confused.
"Really?" I asked making him nod. I shook my head in disbelief. He only does that when he's so stressed out and can't sleep. It's never good.
After a few more minutes of driving, we finally get home. I took a deep breath as we both got out of the car. I don't know why I'm scared. I followed Stokeley into the house and didn't see Jahseh. I saw Isaiah laying on one couch and Gabe sitting on the other couch.
"Yo you didn't tell anyone you left. We were so confused" Gabe said to Stokeley with a laugh.
"I went to go get her" Stokeley told them then sat down next to Gabe. I stayed standing.
"Jahs asleep" Isaiah said making me look over at him. At least he's getting some sleep. I nodded understanding.
"I'm gonna go to my room" I told them quietly.
"You should eat" Stokeley said to me.
"I'm not hungry. Really, I'm okay" I told him and he nodded then gave me a smile. I softly smiled at the boys before walking upstairs. I quietly shut my bedroom door as I entered it. I sighed as I put my bag down. I grabbed my phone to see Faith texted me a few times. I sat on my bed as I started to read them.
