(Y/N) Pov:

" 4, 1 24 17 8, 14 24 18?" "What does that mean?"

"Get off of me," he said with a cold tone. I got myself together and backed off.

"

"I'm going to find Hong Li You know." "I don't think I can save you." "Or perhaps even get to know you." "For all, I have done was giving you a miserable life, without a doubt." "If I had known that I was somewhat immortal I wouldn't enter this world." "If I had known that I was somewhat immortal, I wouldn't this realm and land." "And into your world." "Can I ask if I can leave?" I asked as I slowly walked away.

"I still have questions for you to answer," he grabbed onto my hand.

"Do you think I'm a fool?" I asked him. "Mr. Cai, do you really think I am a fool to stay here?" "I'm not planning on letting Hong Li take my freedom away." "I'm never letting her take everything away from me." "I'm not letting you lead me to her trap and killing me because I'm just something in her way." "I want to be free from this stressful world." "But only my magic can lead me there," I said as I was holding back my tears."I'll never let anyone take away my magic from me." "And I'll never let you take my freedom away for some dumb questions!" I shouted.

"I'll never let you take away my freedom for just some pathetic thing and to think that I can save you I think I might be wrong." " I rather live a life with the monsters that creep up in my dreams than let Hong Li take my life." "I might be speaking to the wrong person but I hope I can live." "And live on without hurting anyone else that I've loved."

Third Pov:

At that very moment, the girl blacked out those were her last words. But they weren't really her last words. The boy walked towards her body and got her up holding her in bridal style in his arms. Honestly, you would think he wouldn't care but you have that feeling that he should care. He walked towards the bed placing the girl on the bed then covering her up with the blanket. He continued to step away and walk out of the room locking it. The guy sighed and walked away from the room and out into the halls.

Cai XuKun Pov:

"Xiao Hui?"

"Yeah, Kun Kun?"

"Never mind." "I'm just here to alert you that I'll be shutting you out for a bit."

"Understandable."

"Bye."

"Bye."

I walked back to the room where the girl was laying down on my bed. She looked so familiar to me. I looked at her hair and her facial features. I took my hand and swiped the strands of hair off of her face. Who is she?

Third Pov:

The crystal clear ice has formed a crack. If it keeps on cracking something will open up. Beware.

(Y/N) Pov:

~Dream~

"Oh (Your Nickname)~" I heard a sudden voice whisper in my ear.

"What do you want?"

"Pretty little thing." "I only want one thing~"

"What do you want??"

"I want control!!!"

"Who are you?"

"That's not important." "I just want control over your body."

"Your emotions are so easy to manipulate in order to control you." "I can help you." "I help you with anything as long as I get control." "The longer the time I have control over you-you'll be helpless." "No one and not even him can save you." "Who are you?"

"Oh, do you remember me Miss (Your Nickname)?"

"Who exactly are you?"

"How could you not know the spirit that guards the magic item you use."

"Wait..." "Xiao Tang?!?!"

"Oh wait your little bunny friend won't be able to help you out either." "You either lose control over your body because you've stored your 古琴 with magic." "Or let me take control."

"You're not hurting anyone!" I watched the creeping shadow walk towards me. "Don't you do this!!" I shouted with all the air I had left.

Cai XuKun Pov:

I was on my way to my room so I can grab my black coat. The closer I got to my room the more chills I felt. Something is off. Wait a minute... I quickly picked up my pace and ran to my room to open the door to see shadows creeping around the girl. I quickly walked to her and the shadows slowly backed away from her. It's probably not safe for her if I leave her here alone.

I sat down on the bed when I got the pillow under her head out. I laid her head on my lap. "(Your Nickname), stay with me." "Even if it's just for a day."

(Y/N) Pov:

"(Your Nickname), stay with me." "Even if it's just for a day~" I heard a faint voice talking to me. The spirit disappeared. I finally can go back to sleep-

~Time Skip~

Cai XuKun Pov:

I woke up in the mid of the night, the moonlight lighten the room a bit. I placed (Your Nickname)'s head back on the bed. Then I went ahead and grabbed the pillow from before and placed it under her head. I got to look away and open my clear glass window balcony doors. I got my white colored hammock out from my nearby shelf. I started to set it up and I got it all done within minutes. I'll let the cold breeze hit me to sleep. I'll leave those doors open and let some fresh air come through. I got myself to lay down on the hammock then closing my eyes waiting for the darkness to hit me.

(Y/N) Pov:

I felt a sudden urge to cough so that's what I did and it woke me up from my slumber. I continued to cough until it finally stopped. Did I get a cold or something? I got out of the bed and walked to the source of wind. I looked at the two opened clear glass doors to just also see Cai XuKun there laying down on a hammock. I walked closer to the doors and I wanted to close it but he would be locked out. I walked closer to him and the closer I got I felt my heart racing faster and faster. I got closer to tap on his cheek. "Wake up~" I whispered. Oh whatever he has magic anyways, I turned myself around to face the doors again. Then a sudden grip was held on my hand. I felt my body just suddenly slipping, but I landed on Cai XuKun.

"What's so heavy?' he whispered. I just stared at him. I landed exactly on his chest under his chin area. He just pulled me in closer.
