Note: Tao Si（桃丝）is from like the start-ish part of the book and wasn't mentioned a lot, it's a white colored nine tails. Xiao Yu （小雨）is the goddess of life. Sorry for any confusion even I had to reread this ff to remember 😂

(Y/N) Pov:

I woke up to face another sleepy face in front of me, "What the-..." I said before I was cut off with someone covering my mouth. 

"Surprise!" he said. I struggled to get his hand off my mouth. "I'm sorry, were you going to talk?" he asked as he let go of me. 

"Can you not do that ever again? I couldn't even speak!" I said.

"Fine," he replied quickly before his face was a few inches before it touched my face. "Your face is red, my dear," he said. I looked straight into his eyes and he stared back, "Why do you look worried?" he asked. 

"Nothing, I'm just glad you're alive."

"I'm the death god. I can't die," he laughed. 

"But you're just merely a mortal like me, but with a god looking above you protecting you. You'll age like everyone even I will. Why else would they be choosing new people each time?" I said.

"Well it was worth it if I died just for your life to live on," he smiled.

"Quit that act Kun, you want to leave me as a widow?" I asked.

"Calm down, I didn't mean it like that-" he said before I hugged him. 

"At least you're still alive and well. That's all I need from you," I said and he hugged back. 

"Sorry to interrupt you two couple, but I have some bad news," Xiao Hui said. 

I let go and stood up, "What's the bad news," I asked.

"Xiao Tang spotted traces of magic that doesn't seem to be from any of us. To be exact the magic is dark. I'm surprised someone still uses dark magic these days. Anyways, Xiao Tang said it was leaking into the portal, and-" Xiao Hui said before he was interrupted. 

"Bad news!" Xiao Tang screamed as she ran towards us. "They're here..." she said out of breath.

"I can smell her magic," KunKun mumbled.

"It's her, Hong Li," I said. "How did she manage to get in here? Xiao Tang did her best to cover us up," I spoke as I looked around us.

"They're coming," Xiao Hui said as he made a portal. "Let's head out before they find us." I followed Xiao Tang and when everyone was on the other side of the portal, Xiao Hui closed it. 

"This is bad..." KunKun said. "I sense an entire army around the forest. We might need to fight it or make a portal."

"Don't think we can make a portal at this point," Xiao Tang interrupted. "Some sucker decided to plant the planets that suck magic energy. I feel a bit dizzy," Xiao Tang said before falling onto the ground and back into a bunny form. Xiao Hui quickly picked her up and carried her in his arms. 

"I hear them," I mumbled quickly. Suddenly a group of soldiers in red uniforms jumped out from the bushes. I quickly drew my 古琴 out with magic, playing a couple of notes before the soldiers fell on the ground.

"(Your Nickname), don't use the 古琴. It's going to take up all your energy and you'll end up dead," KunKun said.

"It's nothing-" I said before I coughed and red liquid came out.

"I don't want you to die," KunKun said as he used a handkerchief to clean the blood on my mouth. 

"We have to keep moving," Xiao Hui said. I got up quickly and made my 古琴 disappear. We continued to run before we were out of the forest. We looked in front of us and front of us was Hong Li and a whole army of soldiers that three of us couldn't possibly beat.

"Oh my, my KunKun is still alive?" Hong Li said.

"I'm not yours!" Kun shouted.

"So? You will be. You lied to me, you weren't dead. You were just with that brat and her disgusting white hair makes her even more filthy than she is already. Husband stealer much?" she said with disgust.

"Shut your mouth. If I had white hair would you care? No right because apparently, you love me that much. That's also the reason why I don't care about (Your Nickname)'s hair color either because I love her not you. Remember the person I love is (Y/N) (Y/L/N) not you Hong Li," Kun said as he stared at Hong Li. I started coughing more.

"Look at her, KunKun. She's coughing blood out, she'll die anyway. Just give up and walk over here and you'll be fine," she said. 

My vision started to blur, "(Your Nickname), are you ok?" he asked. I felt my body hit the dirt ground. I wanted to say something, but I couldn't speak.

"Let me take over, (Y/N)..." a familiar voice spoke. "You'll be safe in my hands," she spoke again. I grabbed onto her hand before I blacked out.

Xiao Yu Pov:

I finally have control over the body...It's going to be a bloody playground. "Lend me your powers Tao Si," I said.

Hong Li Pov: 

I watched (Y/N)'s eyes flicker in different colors. "It's going to be one bloody playground," she mumbled. Nine tails popped out of nowhere. White-colored tails, oh lord.

"She's crazy!" I screamed. 

Cai XuKun Pov:

"(Your Nickname) lost control," Xiao Hui said. He looked down at the bunny in his arms that was disappearing into dust. I could see his eyes starting to water.

"It's going to be fine, Xiao Hui. Xiao Tang is in (Your Nickname)'s body. She'll be fine," I said while looking at him.

"I can't live without her or even knowing I wasn't able to protect till my last breath," he said.

"Then we fight till we're dead," I said.

"Attack!" Hong Li screamed.

Xiao Yu Pov:

"Well, I guess the playground is going to be fun for me today," I smirked before I drew out the 古琴. 

"Her body is very weak right now, Xiao Yu. Be careful when fighting one blow might be the end," Tao Si said.
