It was only when Shawn finished the song that Maia noticed me.
"Lili!" She squealed. "There are two famous people in my cafe. I think I'm going to faint!"
I laughed. "Calm down Maia!"
She inhaled. "Alright. Can I help you with anything?" She asks, turning her business mode on.
"I'd like my usual, thanks Maia." I tell her.
"And for you?" She turns toward Shawn.
"Uh- Can I have a Mocha Frappe and a Strawberry Cheesecake?"
We place our orders and pay for them seperately before sitting down at one of the tables.
"So..." I start. "I am so so so sorry about yesterday."
He shakes his head. "No, I am. I didn't know what happened."
"Are we... Cool?" I ask.
He smiles. "We're cooler than cool, we're awesome!"
I snort. "Dork."
Maia comes up to us. "One Mocha Frappe and Strawberry Cheesecake for you," she gives Shawn his order. "And a Flora Tea and Red Velvet Cheesecake for you!"
"Thank you," Shawn and I say simultaneously.
"I see you remembered my order," I smile.
"Well of course! It's not everyday you get Royalty coming by!" She laughs before heading back to work.
"So Rose, hows the Royal life treating you?" Shawn asks me.
I think about it. "Well, besides the whole Lucien drama and my Dad's lovely yelling all the time, pretty good. How about you? How's the Famous Canadian Singer life?"
He smirks. "Better now that I've met you."
I cringe. "No. Shawn-. That was so cheesy. Don't say that again."
He laughs. "I wasn't planning too. Anyway, it's pretty good. Especially seeing how happy my fans are at the concerts. It brightens my day."
I smile.
We keep talking for a few hours, having mutiple meaningless conversations and making eachother laugh. I get a message from Harry.
