These harsh words from Rebekah echoed throughout Billie's mind during the whole of the next school day, and she couldn't help but feel incredibly guilty for all the stress she had caused upon her best friend.

Last night when Billie had rung up the older vampire, she had quickly explained what had happened the evening she got there. Even though Rebekah was usually level-headed and thoughtful, she couldn't help but scream at the girl down the phone for being so reckless when it came to feeding.

The only positive thing that came out of the whole conversation was that the Mikaelson girl promised Billie that she wouldn't tell Elijah about the entire ordeal; however, it was still slightly frustrating when the blonde wouldn't explain what the whole family was doing in New Orleans. What broke the girl from her slightly irritated mood was the booming voice of a particular teen she had been keeping an eye on since arriving yesterday, and what she heard him say made her blood boil in annoyance.

"The fibre analysis came back from the Lab in LA! They found animal hairs on the body from the woods! It was a wolf." Stiles loudly cried to his best friend once he had joined him at the lacrosse bleachers.

Billie saw a few students turn around from the noisy outburst, which made her quickly storm over there. She wasn't going to let some teenage boy out of the supernatural existence after it was kept secret for thousands of years. But what made her stop dead in her tracks was the quiet comment Stiles mumbled out once Scott had abruptly left him for the practice that was starting.

"The body was also drained of all of its blood." Not only was the body drained of blood, but it also seemed like Billie was too, as once she heard the few words she was dreading, all the colour evaporated from the girls already pale face.

Worry filled the girl throughout the day, and even when she was safely at home, she couldn't seem to get rid of the anxiety that filled her body of being caught. She knew that Elijah would be able to get her out of many things, but if her DNA were found anywhere on the dead body, it wouldn't be as simple as killing whoever questioned them and moving to another state.

Billie thought about calling Elijah, but once she remembered the phone call she got from Rebekah the previous night, she put that thought behind her and soon decided to take matters into her own hands.

And that so happened to entitle going to the one boy's house who she knew she would be able to help her. Stiles had just changed his outfit and was sat down putting his shoes on when he heard a slight creak come from his window. Initially, he ignored it as he was slightly traumatised by what Scott had just done to him and his chair, but when a slam came from behind him, the boy quickly turned around and was shocked to see what, or rather who was making the noise.
